I like to welcome everyone back to the San Antonio Spurs Preseason Press Conference. First off I would like tell the fans for all of their support last. We are disappointed on how everything ended in the 1st round of the playoffs last season but we loss to a good athletic nuggets team in 7 games. Last season was still kinda a success but when you are a team that has been to so many Western Conference Finals and a Finals appearance, just making the playoffs isn't just enough. We made some roster moves last season and one move this off season that will hopefully help us down the line. We still have our core of Spray, Dirk and Josh Smith and we think that with the role players we have we can still make the playoffs this season. How far that will be determined down the line. We are looking forward to this upcoming regular season and what it may bring.
If anyone have any questions feel free to ask and we will answer them the we can. Thanks again for attending our preseason press. conference

New Jersey Reporter: Take us through the thought process of trading away your defensive anchor in Calvin Booth.

Well we wanted to get value for Calvin while he's still in the prime of his career. The taxman played a big part in this move too. Being a 4+ year repeater we felt it would be difficult to retain him after this season.

Random Reporter: Despite being a key part of the Spurs for many years, word around the league is that you've been shopping Ray Allen. Is there any truth to that? If so, why?

I am guessing you are talking about Spray. Well we have got some offers for him and continue to listen. He's a player that has been a key part of the success of the franchise since he was drafted and we all know at some point there would a time where we are going to have to part ways whether it's via trade, him moving on and not resigning with us or retiring.

You've been a successful GM for many years. Though you have young talent, part of your core is getting older. Where do you see your franchise long-term?

I can't predict the future long term but hopefully we can continue to compete and win some games along the way. Our Team is getting older and we are going have to do some retooling. Just hope the retooling process doesn't take too long. Cause as everyone We hate losing here in San Antonio. We want our fans to enjoy coming to games and feel like they are getting their money's worth.

Nick Van Exel left San Antonio, complaining the water was dirty and the food tasted like ass. Do you feel Anthony Johnson will like the water and food, or will he too flee in FA?

I don't know where you got your info from but we didn't extend an offer to him. Maybe he was bitter that we didn't make a offer. I was also told that the Bucks owner left the Owners meeting at the Fox and Hound early because he had to fulfill a clause in the contract NVE signed of licking his balls for 10 mins every Thursday night after 9:15.
As far as AJ he loves San Antonio right now.

Sources close to the Bucks owner says that they are indeed chocolate salty balls.

Another rumor about Van Exel leaving was the women in San Antonio were too fat? Even Glenn Robinson routinely yelled out in the nightclub "Who let the dogs out?!". What's your thoughts on this matter?

The women in San Antonio aren't all fat but we paid him good money. So if he wanted a bad bitch he could have paid for one.

They are part the reason our players have good TCs. Those women do a lot churro training with the players. The players put their churro in the women volunteers mouth. Crawford would not have gone from Y/Y to G/G without those women.

I think we will shave the Chest hairs in a shape of a vest or maybe get a permanent vest Tattoo.
