Good sim against good teams, close losses, too. Then Paul goes down for 3 sims.

Finished that road stretch strong. Damn strong.

I'm loving the way my team plays in different gameplans. We'll see if that sticks.

Went 4-4 in a disappointing sim. Dropped some winnable games at home. Bucks and Raptors got closer also. Gotta stop the fouls.

I don't think my DC was inputted. Again.

The following DC led to 0 minutes for Outlaw (total), 13 minutes for Fred Jones (total), and consistent minutes for Miles. Outlaw was given 0 minutes is all prior DC's, ended up with a couple (total), Miles was given 24 before.

To be fair, Allen is getting minutes, but what DC that is IS NOT my DC or even close.

Jones was set to take PG minutes. Paul is losing 47 days after getting hurt in his 41st minute of the last game of the Sim.

No clue what would have happened with my DC, but not inputting it led to circumstances that seem avoidable with the DC I submitted.

Again, this is not the first time this has happened. I was told then there was no issue despite textual evidence to the contrary. The explanation was that Iverson is just always the point guard even if you disallow the position to him. Yet, he was a shooting guard on others' teams.

So, I await the explanation here about how this is my DC sucking (Inner's comment, though maybe that was Balls' comment he just rolled out).

6-2 sim. However, Webber is becoming more of a liability on this team. Action must be taken.

If the action is on your DC, better double check. Hard to make rational decisions when what you ask for is not what you get.

That's my fault. I had everything right and i guess it froze up when i clicked the pg position for Jones ....it apparently did not register. What's odd is Jones is listed as a pg in the game and the minutes were distributed as intended. Sorry about that 42 and you have my apology that it lead to Paul's injury. Burn me at the stake sir.

My main issue is not who did what. Mistakes happen.

My main issue is essentially being called a Fryeing idiot before, particularly when there was clear evidence for me and Snug, that this was happening, and here it is happening again.

All the shit about Paul's injury is nothing just to draw attention to the issue; i may have three injuries on "my" DC. Also, for reference, my main concern is not Paul (for that reason). It's Outlaw. I'm trying to see what I have in these guys in terms of front court play. I only have so many sims, and now I have one less to work with, and even fewer with Paul.

Something should have been done in addition to calling me a Fryeing idiot before, when I had multiple sims worth of data and showed a pattern not only of errors but of comments being ignored. Nothing prevents mistakes, but something to try to reduce or minimize them... whatever that is not super burdensome for the League runners.

So, what is that? I'm an idiot and we put our DC's in directly somehow. I'm an idiot and a second inputter checks the original input. I'm an idiot and maybe there's a script to read DC's (unlikely, requires no typos, strict format).

This idiot would like to not be ignored when this idiot goes through the trouble to gather facts and present them.

While we're on the subject, i've got another issue I've been working in PM'S that needs attention to. It'd be nice to get feedback on that.

What is it that there is an issue with then, if it's not an issue with an accidental mistake by an inputter? This game has a flaw, and when you list players at multiple positions, we have all seen some erratic players playing out of position. For example, I've had it happen to me, syndicate has had it, ftb has had it (emailed me about it b4 yesterday's sim and i verified the DCs were inputted correctly for theirs), it's happened to everyone. There is NOTHING than can fix this, as the game is simmed in less than a seconds worth of time. There is no way to control what happens mid game. We do best what we are given here. I wish there was a magical answer I could give that would cure all woes.

I'm not sure what else I can do. As you said, human error happens, and trust me, if i Frye up I'll admit it. Ive done so many times since taking commissioner reigns. But when it comes to something out of ANY of our control, then I'm not sure what else there is to say.

This is: multiple mistakes on this DC (you are skimming), multiple mistakes on prior DC's, and affecting multiple people.

This is not a mistake, this is a pattern.

You contention about multiple positions is flawed. Outlaw is listed as first backup PF (no other starter has PF other than the starter), and he is only listed as PF.

I want something to change about DC input. Something.

I addressed all this. Read, that's all I can say.

It is easy to dismiss each little piece of the problem on its own. As a whole, the DC submission process is, in my opinion, too flawed. Something to error check, error prevent needs to be done. Learning the "computer" for GM's is as important as learning anything else, including it's freakish decisions. I can not do that, however, when our inputs are not input.

Something will be done or I'm trading Paul, picks, rookie scale contracts to Wig at a time of his choosing.

I read everything you said, and I won't address everything, but I'll say this: if we moved to a direct input for DCs, I probably wouldn't want to play. I did direct input for another league and it was an enormous hassle and sapped my interest. Just my opinion, of course, if other people are interested in changing the DC submission rules then that's fine.

And to other important matters: 3-5, that was awful. Need to figure out what happened.

That was one of a few suggestions. I would prefer I do what I have been doing and I get what I asked for. That requires more work for someone else, though.

Do we need another league job.

Either way I'm not wasting my time any more trying to actually tinker until something in the end to end process changes.

Again, this is a pattern.

Mistakes on inputting your DC likely only help, and soon you'll only have min players and quit anyway, so no matter.

If you'd like something done about DCs offer suggestions in the suggestion thread. We're all aware that the human element is here when we input, and would all agree that we would like to mitigate the error side of the human element. If there's something that can be don't that's not resource intensive on our lives, the league will vote on it and it will be implemented.

We can pound the pavement all we want but an apology has been made. If you want an apology for last time because you feel people were not giving you fair respect in your complaint: I'm sorry you weren't taken seriously with you complaint we will do better.

Otherwise, An apology and being committed to creating a better solution for the league is all we can do.

Not really. I know what I'm doing. I don't give multiple positions to staters because the computer recognizes multiple positions for backups instead of starters. Plus when a mistake has happened which has been less than 5 times in the last 15 seasons, I ask privately.

Besides why try to put down someone who has a much better record?

I don't need an apology for errors. Errors happen. Ignoring them is the issue. It was ignored before, and I do not want that to happen again. DC's are the most direct way GM's have to get wins; they matter a ton. We police them for tanking (sometimes), but not for errors. Irrational.

I'll move the discussion to suggestions.

Lots of talk here, but no sense, no reading, no counting, no thinking.

If your DC is so great, go same.
