I will not be doing this sim's pick em nor will I be doing any other pickems for this season. The reasoning is as follows:

Doing the SIM pickem is an extra chore, it requires the participation of your entire division. The reward is winning points at the end of the season. Therefore the sole purpose is to have a chance at winning the purse come seasons end.

When this started many many seasons ago it was decided that PMs would be sent to the participants each week to ensure that they know it is their turn. There is no need to check the pickem thread every day because you know you'll get a PM. NO PMs have been sent this season. At least three GMs have MISSED the pick em and got 0 points for their division.

Louie missed the first.
Ryan missed the last.
I missed the last.

Strictly due to no PMs being sent. Yes it was a mistake by Nick and those happen. No big deal. But it shouldn't be "Oh well, y'all bad try and catch up bitches". That's basically the response I've received when I asked for this to be fixed. The only fair thing to do is to set every division at 0 points and start this sim while sending PMs. But apparently that is too much to ask. Fairness doesn't happen here. Therefore I will be boycotting the pick em until it is corrected. Thanks for your reading time.

Darth has a good point. No PMs were sent, and as a results quite a few were not aware (apparently coltsguy, after 3 attempts is still not aware). All varying thoughts and opinions aside, something has to be done. I spoke with Nick and he will be PMing everyone going forward. Darth made a suggestion on the Skype chat, and it is the best available option:

Pick 'em will reset everyone to 0, starting with this sim. Participants up to this point can claim their 1 point that they can claim for participation (and it does not count against your 3 time cap for participation, as we are reseting). PMs will be sent prior to each pick em, and if you do not pick then, tough shit.

Scores have officially been reset to 0 and PMs will be sent out going forward for the rest of the season and this is my final season doing the Pick Ems.

well i dont think it should have been reset personally. people have always missed pickems but now theres a problem so its reset.

I mean there will be debate on this regards. Teams in the West will say its unfair to not reset; teams in the East will say its unfair to reset. Therefore I made a decision. Moot point at this junction.
