Welcome to the beautiful garden state of New Jersey. I would like to start off in congratulating the Houston Rockets and the Philadelphia 76ers on making it the finals and GM BSH on bringing Philly a title, the second of his bi-coastal back to back. We made some moves this off-season to some fan favorites, Corey Maggette, Drew Gooden and Stephon Marbury. We wish them good luck in the future and thank you for your time here.

We drafted big man Andrew Bynum to go with Chris Kaman for our version of ebony and ivory connection. We also traded for Mr. Vince Carter who we believe will provide the veteran leadership to our club. Jameer Nelson had a stellar rookie season at sg but we feel its time for him to run the team as pg. We also brought back Gerald "Cras" Wallace at a nice contract and feel he's ready to show why he a key piece to this team.

The Atlantic division will be tough and the whole Eastern Conference as a whole but this season we feel this is the time for Nets Nation to stand up and get ready for a hell of a season. We thanks you for coming here and listen to us babble, so with that said the floor is now open for questions.

How much mentoring do you expect Juwan Howard to provide to young Andrew Bynyum?

Glad the see you here Mr Cat Man, enjoy the cheese tray, we think Juwan is happy to be back here and will hopefully provide Andrew with how to handle the transition to the NBA. He has a lot of potential and hype placed on him, that was the thinking of management on bringing back Juwan. We also would love for Juwan to finish his career where it all started, in a Nets uniform.

You mentioned the moves you made in the offseason, one being trading the former face of your franchise, Corey Maggette, for Allen Iverson. What led you to move on from Corey, especially in favor of Iverson, a 30-year-old veteran not really known for bringing wins to a team?

thanks for the question, i wouldnt say Corey got lazy but we just felt the $$$ wasnt worth the production. Iverson will bring a competitive fire to the franchise that we have been lacking for a while.

Generic Wolves Reporter: I heard some reports that Kaman and Bynum had a big fight over training camp, causing Bynum to miss most of camp and show up overweight. Do you see this as a problem for your two young centers going forward?

To piggy back off of the Wolves Reporter... is there any truth to the rumor that was reported by Michael Macnamara that Chris Kaman let slip the N-word in the lockerroom, and is there any linking this to why Bynum came into Training Camp with less-than-ideal results?

Thanks for bringing this up because I wanted to address that rumor now. Ebony & Ivory did not have an argument over the doughnuts. Did things get heated in practice a few times? Yes but that is to be expected when you have a young talent like Andrew come to try to prove himself against a caveman.

Another job of lazy reporting by this so called insider Michael Macnamara, he is a talentless hack who just has an agenda he's trying to push. Next question.

Nick Melon; Charlotte Observer: What lead to the decision to reup "Crash" to a max contract that is going to take more time to develop?

Typical Charlotte media with lazy reporting and non existent fact checking, we DID NOT max Gerald Wallace. We signed him to a fair deal which we think he will out play. Please get a twinkie on the way out the door.

Nick Melon; Charlotte Observer: I didn't know what was worse, your attitude towards my fair and balanced question or the stench of this state.

Rando Reporter: Some are saying your brother Eazy got all the "luck" in your GM gene pool, how would you respond to those allegations?
