Anybody who submits a nomination can claim 1 point (excluding self-nominations).

The max points allowed to receive for submitting a season 9 award is 1 point, even if you submit nominations in other categories

Winning nomination gets an additional point awarded for the win.

Voting on nominations gets you an additional 3 points.

So nominating, voting, and having a winning nomination can get you a max of 5 points

Nominations are due by Thursday April 30th 2026 at 4pm central.

We all know Magic has been the league MVP from the start. Everyone tanked for Michael Jordan. Everyone knows Malone is about to be OP. We hear about Ewing and Olajuwon constantly. Eddie A. Johnson is a known commodity.

Nobody has said a word about Terry Porter since he was drafted. He's probably overshadowed on his own team by Olajuwon, but that doesn't mean he's not a good player. It means he's underrated.
