Always a feature in this award, I want to nominate @WigNosy. His two low post starters were acquired this year and are putting up almost 50 points per game combined. They also are contributing on the defensive end as well. McHale is up almost a full block per game from last season, which shows how talented of a coach Wig is. Obviously, his win total shows how talented of GM/Coach that Wig is as well.
In addition to the on the court changes, Wig has accumulated a lot of assets as well. The Trailblazers have 5 first round picks over the next 3 years. He has a war chest of assets that can assist in moves going forward as well.
The final aspect of this that is important is the tax bill. With so much talent on the court, Wig does not have a tax bill this year which will allow him to continue to grow his salary for years going forward.
Overall, Wig has the second best record in the league with no tax bill. He acquired two studs in the post and has multiple first round picks going forward.

I think the easy pick for GMoty is NickMalone77 .
First season back, he took huge swings. Talked to every GM probably. Created momentum in the league this season like no one else.
Did he get the desired results for swinging for the fences? No, but this is one case where I think the best GM isn’t limited to his W-L record. There’s not a single GM not happy to have him back, and to come back like that, I think that makes you GMOTY.

My nomination for is Darth Vegito . Had to get rid of a starter in the expansion draft, had some adversity to start the season and then made all the right moves to be competing for home court advantage in the 1st round of the playoffs
