Welcome to the Cavs Preseason Presser. We are pleased to welcome the league's favorite GM.

GM jlmarines: Last season was a disappointed. We struggle with our depth chart and had no defense. During the offseason, our priority was to upgrade on the defensive side. We missed few targets during UFA, however overall we signed few players that will help our depth chart. We signed two big physical defender to help our star C Rick Mahorn During free agent we wanted fearless style players that are willing to put their life on the line.

GM jlmarines: We are pleased to signed C Paul Mokeski and C Dave Corzine. Both Mokeski and Corzine brings leadership, initiate contact in order to make plays, and score points. Corzine is a proven winner who will fight for rebounds. We are also pleased to signed veteran leader SG Mike Bratz. Bratz has great defensive upside with his long arms and great ability to move laterally. Bratz is an athlete who runs faster than speed of light, and great at stealing the ball.

GM jlmarines: We are also pleased to draft PF Horace Grant. Grant is a freak. He has never had a turnover in his entire life. He will die to grab rebounds

GM jlmarines: Of course, let's not forget our future hall-of-famers SF/SG Jim Paxson and SG Sidney Moncrief. Both, SF Paxson and SG Moncrief are ready to lead the Cavs again. Paxson is locked in on the ball, willing to go get it, and there’s not a whole lot anybody can do about it. Moncrief is ready to destroy anyone in front of him and sent them back to the G-League. Both are hungry for a ring.

GM jlmarines: Overall, we signed solid players that have athletic abilities to finish plays and defend their position. I believe the Cavs are ready to compete with anyone.

GM jlmarines: Here's are starting 5 for the current moment and subject to change:

C: Rick Mahorn
PF: David Greenwood
SF: Jim Paxson
SG: Sidney Moncrief
PG: Michael Adams
6th: Dell Curry
Honorable Mention: Dave Corzine

Steve Duin, the Oregonian:

Any concerns that Michael Adams might shoot you both into and out of games nightly? If he isn't the barometer for how your team is performing, who is?

Good question. I'm not concern. However, Michael Adams is the future. I expect a much better year from him. I expect Adams to lead the team. Thank you for following the Cavs.

After tabloid rumors of you turning your back on the team and not making them a priority, you proved everyone wrong by bringing the team to the playoffs then having an active offseason. My question is: Is the team where you want it to be? Paxson and Moncrief are great but they're getting up in age. Do you see yourself making a move for another star to help push them further into the playoffs?

Tired of their sorry ass not producing. Thinking of trading both of them. Thank you for the great question.
