Welcome to another great day here in New Jersey. First and foremost we would like to congratulate the Spurs and the Raptors on making it to the finals. Congrats to the champs, the Raptors. We are excited here in the New Jersey this season. We had a pretty good training camp here, most of the players came to meetings and listened to the coaching staff. We are proud to have back the reigning most improved player back, Mr. Corey Maggette. Joining Corey is a more defense focused Gerald Wallace. We traded away last years 1st rounder in Nene and our starting point guard Jamaal Tinsley, we wish the best of luck to them. Replacing them we traded for Stephon Starbury and drafted Chris Kaman and T.J. Ford. Things are looking up here and we are excited to see what the season holds. With that being said we will now open to floor to questions and please try some of the punch, it was sweetened with Spurs tears from losing in the finals.

GWR: How have Corey and Stephon gotten along this summer? I've heard both are domineering alpha types. Is that going to cause a conflict in the season?

Thanks for the question, we all went out for lunch at Piccadillys to build comradery. We have some things working out and will look to implement them this preseason.

With your revamp roster and TC success what are your expectations for this upcoming season?

This kinda sounds familar but we are looking to build off our training camp with a eye towards the division and post season. We think we have things in place that will put is in the race.

Nick Melon; Charlotte Observer: With drafting TJ Ford and trading for Stephon Marbury, I would imagine you'd look to sign Marbury to a long term contract next offseason or do you feel that TJ could be ready to lead the ship in NJ starting next season given how training camp has come and gone?

Bulls Beat Blogger : You have good, young talent at every starting position. What areas would you like to see your roster improve, if any?

Random Reporter: Your perimeter rotation is deadly, but your frontcourt seems like a major weak point. Are you expecting breakout performances from Kaman and Gooden this season, or are you looking for your perimeter guys to shoulder all of the load? Are there any plans to bring in more post help?

We will have some discussions with Stephon this offseason to bring him back but if that doesnt happy we have confidence in T.J. Ford. He will have chance to learn from Stephon and we hope that he takes advantage of that opportunity.

I can't lie, I hope our front court can see some improvements as the season goes on. We have talent but we are also young at those positions.

We are always looking for ways to improve this team. We have expectations on our players but I'm sure they have even higher ones on themselves.

Sports Guy Bill Simmons here, the Kaman pick was an interesting one and he had a great camp. What kind of player do you project him to be?
