Which player is about to explode on these playoffs?
Why do you think they're primed to show out?
What kind of numbers are you expecting from them?
Rules: 1 point if you give thoughtful answers, which I will award after the timer ends for responses. The timer ends for responses at the moment the corresponding week's Sim is run.
Note: Use approximately 5 sentences as your bare minimum for 1 point. If you write 3 long, complex sentences, you'll still get a point. If you write 5, 3 word sentences, you will not get a point. Don't @ me.
Due: Deadline for round 1 game 1

I'm going out on a limb here and say a Lakers player will show their ass!
To be more specific, Adrian Dantley is bout to average 40 points, 7 boards, and 5 assists in these playoffs.
He will lift the Lakers to their first deep run which will end in a championship.
The Lakers have the roster to get it done, but Dantley specifically will end up with favorable matchups because the Warriors and Spurs, who I think they'll face, don't have many perimeter defenders, and the primary objective should be to stop Magic. This will open the door for Dantley to capitalize on his first meaningful playoff action and push LTS to new heights.

in what could be a swan song for Robert Parish, I think he will put up big numbers against the Clippers leading to an upset win for the Warriors. Parish has had a great career and as we enter the twilight days, he will once again show he is a force to be reckoned with in the postseason even off the bench. Give me 20/8 leading the reserves to victory.

I think Calvin Natt is about to go off these playoffs. He’s already scoring 30+ points per game to go with almost 9 rebounds. The bulls know that he is going to be the reason they make a deep run and will look to feature him. Plus we’ve seen him in the playoffs for many years now and he always finds a way to elevate his game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few 40 point games just in round 1 alone. This man is going to be a problem for teams this postseason

Which player is about to explode in these playoffs?
Going to make this one easy. Gotta go with Kevin McHale. Led the league in scoring and still brings real rim protection. Could be a slower, half-court series and he should dominate.
Why do you think they’re primed to show out?
The Bucks are so deep and in isolation, prime Kevin McHale should continue to put up big numbers. Even when the game shrinks and possessions become a premium. He can win any game script
What kind of numbers are you expecting from them?
Something like 32–35 pts/gm, ~9–10 boards, ~3 blocks per game on elite efficiency—basically regular-season McHale \

Bernard King is ready to ball out. He is primed already with scoring 33.5 points per game, but his size, speed, and talent gives him an advantage in multiple spots on the floor. Pair that up with a lesser defender in Cummings, King should have a great first round.
I'm thinking averaging over 40 points per game.
