Welcome back to another year of POWERRR Rankings with Angrybanana. I am back with a new rankings page to round out this sim one. This will hopefully either help you feel even better about your sim (Bucks, Warriors), pleasantly surprised (Mavs), further upset about your sim (Cavs, Celtics), or maybe think that this thing is Fryeing terrible (Trailblazers). I will not do too much analysis because it is the first sim and I do not want to over react to other teams, when I am already over reacting to my own sim, so enjoy.

P.S. I am basing the movement based on the last POWERRR Rankings from last season. So this will show how you looked compared to the end of the regular season last year.

Sim 2
Here is Sim two. The biggest mover was the Cavs at a plus 6. While the biggest shaker was the Lakers and Spurs. Both teams are lower than expected, with the Spurs likely hanging out there for a sim or two until Giminski bounces back from a concussion. It is still early, and I think after a sim or two more we will see what the true powerrr rankings bleed through. I do think some clear indications are here already though. Celtics and Kings BAD, Rockets may actually have some staying power (Not just facing a 6'6 C that was mistaken as a C), and maybe the Blazers are pressing the alarms a little too early??? We shall see on the next POWERRR Ball Z.

Sim 3

Firstly, the Bucks regressed slightly on the back of two losses. One to the Rockets that was close, and the second against the Bulls who flexed on them a little bit. That also brings the Bulls closer to Bucks as a result, being the closest anyone has come to challenging the Bucks for the number one spot. The Trailblazers were the biggest jump up, but I have a feeling that they may not be wanting to be better at this point after making some trades at the D60 mark. The team with the biggest fall was the Clippers, who it looks like took a bit of a stumble going 4-6 recently. They are looking to make an improvement somewhere in a trade, which may help them more in games against the Lakers or Spurs that they recently lost against.

Sim 4
The rankings are starting to paint a clear top five here , where the teams 1-5 have mostly stayed in the rankings as of late, while 2-5 have shuffled some. The rockets also refuse to drop too low, but I could see them drop as low as 8th before too long given how close those teams behind the Rockets are. Equally, the gap between 1 and 2 are of equal gap between 3 and 11 and 11 and 18. More will be written soon. Standby

Sim 6
Watch out Bucks, the blazers may be starting to figure it out? Or they are hurting the competition? Speaking of, Lakers are another big man down and that is keeping them from climbing higher. Meanwhile we have some jumps from further down in the Mavs and Pistons who may be starting to understand their roster builds, or just getting a better slate of game. The biggest drop this sim was the Cavs, lol.

OBJECTIVE: 548 words (to this point; 500-749 words = 2 points)
SUBJECTIVE: There is obviously some work being done on the back end to compute power rankings, track the movement up and down, and create the graphical output. This also reviews the whole league. I like the fact it is recurring. What keeps it from getting the full 5 points is we have no insight into what is actually driving the ratings. I don't need the full formulas, but giving us a general reason WHY teams are moving up and down ("they're rebounding more" or "their defense is getting stingier") would make it better. +3 points
TOTAL: +5 points
