Knicks win this series. Pistons are a good team but the Knicks were without Bernard king to finish the season and that’s likely why they missed out on the bye. I think the Knicks take care of business and advance to the 2nd round with a fully healthy squad as they look to bring home the trophy this season. Not sure the Pistons can generate enough offense to keep up with the Knicks in the series. I see this series going 5-6 games at the most

I think the Knicks win this one because they have a bigger margin for error. Terry Cummings has to be absolutely on point for the Pistons to win, and at least to this point, he doesn't have the playoff pedigree... while New York will have to deal with Bernard King being out for the first game or two of the series, we know Moses has been a rock in the playoffs ... and among David Greenwood, Don Collins, and Jamaal Wilkes, I have to think the Knicks will be able to find more scoring from their supporting cast than the Pistons. Home court favoring the Knicks helps here as well, though I don't think the Knicks are fond of the fact that King will be injured for home games; they probably would prefer he missed road games. This will be a banger, and I think the Pistons have a fighting chance, but I still have to go with the Knicks.

This is a really fun series. Bernard King is out to start the series at home. The Knicks have decent depth behind him though. The Pistons are surging at the right time. Detroit needs to steal one of the first two games. If that's the case, I think this series will come down to 7 games. I see a gameplan adjustment making the different. Moses will start at 4 in the final game and that will be enough to slow down Cummings. Knicks in 7.

This is Moses Malone’s series to lose, and he will not lose. Am I underestimating the pistons? Absolutely. Could I eat my words? Definitely, but I don’t think I will. Moses is a name you trust in the postseason. Even against Magic Johnson Moses was putting up 50 burgers, so I think hell handle himself just fine against the young and unproven Pistons.
This is the perfect series for Bernard king to heal up and terrorize the east the rest of the playoffs.

If anybody is reading the Town Hall responses, I've already underestimated both of these teams.
For the situations they are facing, they have both been impressive down the stretch.
I really love the depth of this young Pistons team!
Especially on the wing.
It would help if they were a higher paced team than they are, to force rotations, but they are excellent at causing and avoiding turnovers.
I'm picking the upset.
And Thank You for getting NY out when we have a chance.
