Rivalries are born in the playoffs, and we've had so few repeat playoff matchups, I haven't seen a rivalry born there yet. But the answer here is easy... it's Darth Vegito versus the reality that Reggie Theus is an all-league caliber player. We've seen multiple threads across seasons and in the Discord where Darth rails about how mid Theus is, followed by Theus proving him wrong in All-Star Games and productivity. If Theus ever rises up and wins a title, we'll be talking nuclear levels of heat in this rivalry.

To kinda piggyback off of Wig's answer, I'm not sure we're at the point with any true rivalries. If I looked at my own team, I'd probably say the Clippers are the closest to a rivalry for me since we have been very close in record the past couple of seasons with me just edging them out for a final playoff spot. But even then, our matchups have been pretty split over the years. I'd like to say I'm building a rivalry with the Trailblazers but it's more of just a hatred since they keep kicking me out of the first round of the playoffs. Maybe one day I'll be able to compete with and then we can truly call ourselves rivals

I’ve got a few I could rattle off.

1. Previously mentioned Reggie Theus and DarthVegito. Darth wrote a scandalous article on Theus, where Theus responded by being the opposite of what was pointed out by Darth.
2. DarthVegito’s Kings and Quails Bucks. Both teams have met in the finals and neither can get the other out of their mouth’s since.
3. Angrybanana and Quail. This is more so because Quail won’t stop with the Ralph trade requests. AB responds with great memes and ignores Quails poor attempts to get Ralph. On court it’s been a little more one sided, with the tanking Celtics getting their first win against the supposed super team that is the bucks.

A few things go into a real rivalry.
1. Interaction between the two managers.
2. Issues that happen to create issues.
3. A period of time that the issues have occurred.

For me, the best rivalry in NPBSL is Greeple vs LTS. However, it doesn't fit in all three of my categories. It makes it stand out even more because of this. This rivalry is completely one sided on interactions. All comments to the group come from Greeple. It all was triggered by the Magic trade. Since then, anytime I see an LTS post, I look forward to the eventual response from Greeple. It's the best.

Biggest rivalry right now is between the spurs and the clock. Because it’s only a matter of time before they run stuff here. With a couple of other teams near the top aging, it’s gonna be real fun to see if anyone can topple those guys. Knowing our GMs and Carlos, there will be some mad shit talking which always increases the rivalry. Saltire the better!

The AB v Doug things is a funny distraction, but a rivalry, it is not

I'm really interested to hear what others have to say here, but for my money it's the AB vs Doug rivalry. There's really no actual NPBSL comptetition between the two to be had, for now, and yet they're at each other's throats over Ralph Sampson. It's really hilarious.

It's mostly played out on Discord, but Doug's insistence on going after a GM with one of the worst teams in the league is hilarious, as someone who made the finals three seasons in a row (and as a reigning champ, to boot). I actually forgot he was champ because he's spent so much time tormenting Charlie, someone at the opposite end of the bracket. But ya know? Our president likes to torture the least fortunate, too, so I guess it's the most American thing Doug could be doing right now.

OOOhhhh This is fun.

Well, I feel like I've been heavily involved in trash talking with 2 separate teams: the Kings & Celtics.... for completely different reasons.

- Kings:
This all stems back to the finals where we blew the lead. And since there have been trashtalking, trades, attempted trade backs, I HATE YOU/I LOVE YOUs, and the whole other 9 yards. It's actually a competitive rivalry.

- Celtics:
This bastard stole MVP from McHale's clutches with his little RALPHIE SAMPSON. So in return I will steal Ralph back. One day, he will be mine... and until he is, you're god damn right imma be up your ass about him. MWAHAHAHAH... but this back and forth with AB literally goes back IRL YEARS... so it's always fun to let it play out when the opportunity presents itself.

- Pistons:
I want to rekindle the Bucks-Pistons rivalry that previously existed in old slow... whether I was the Bucks or Pistons (primarily Bucks)... the Pistons were always our opponent to beat.. whether it was Tray, Mike/Tani 2.0, or Scott. COME ON @tbone963 make it happen!
