"Bullets Don't Kill People..."
We just whoop ass in NPBSL!!

Welcome to the beginning of the greatest era of Washington Bullets Basketball - well - EVER.
We're winning the ship this year!
Wait... let me say it again for the cheap seats, WE'RE WINNING THE SHIP!!
I know, all the ol heads are saying that I got a snotty nose.
I just made it out of the first round for the first time, and now I'm trying to high side with some big Bucks.
Well, You Damn Right!
No money like new money, and we got BUCK!
Not that we turn into a one man show, we're once again, the deepest team in the league.
Now we have star power though.
And I hear some of pointing out that we traded Calvin Natt, and we let Terry Tyler walk in free agency, and you mad that we're Still gonna WIN the SHIP.
Truth is, those guys were not perfect fits for what we got going on around here.
We believe that we need a team to win it all, and Terry wasn't worth that max deal yet.
We ain't mad at him that someone else wanted to cash him out, we're happy to see him get his flowers, but BUCK is the kind of star we been waiting for, and he'll show you why.
Calvin is certainly a monster with the rock, but we felt like big men are at a premium.
So we took a less talented Sikma, and the picks that turned into Mike Sanders, who we're high on, and a critical piece to the Buck Williams trade.
We certainly feel like that was a great return on investment.
We're also excited about Rod Higgins.
Our strategy of collecting picks and stayin consistent with our draft valuation really paid off.
He will certainly be a ROY candidate.
Returning our other vets and bringing in solid veteran depth in UFA will separate us from other contenders.
The future is bright around here.
Our starting 5 will be:

Buck Williams
Jack Sikma
Alvan Adams
Rod Higgins
Michael Ray Richardson

What would it take to get Buck Williams off your team? #OpenNegotiations

GWR: The two towers lineup seems to work well only about half the time. What about Jack and Buck's skillsets do you believe complement each other?

Christian Carter, Castle Chronicles: It seems the Buck stops with you. While he is certainly a giant addition to your team, what are your plans for the 3 spot? Is Alvan Adams the answer or will you be possibly shopping around the trade deadline?

How does Michael Ray Richardson fit into this lineup? What sort of expectation does he have with Buck and Jack working so much in the paint?

After 1 sim, you sit behind the Knicks, your suitor in the Buck trade. Do you think this will stand, or do you think it was a fluke, because half of your sim 1 wins came against them? One an absolute blowout...

Oh, also, you have Buck instead of Sikma at the 5. What's your thinking behind that?

I'm always willing to talk.
It would take a lot though!
Look at what I gave up, and then double it.
That would be a starting point.

Actually, I just think there are few quality big man available.
If I feel like I can get better at a position I will, and then tweak the game plan after.
Which obviously needs work after the first sim.

Alvan Adams is a hell of a player!
Hasn't done anything but rise to the occasion ever since we brought him in.
Problem is, he doesn't fit well at the 3.
We tried that first sim, and last season, we won't again.
But he is such a game changer that I'm actually willing to bring Sikma off the bench.
So I guess I'm already shopping Sikma and Adams for a game changing running mate for Buck.
I have some young talent that I can pair with an 83 1st, but I imagine the big man I'm looking for will be hard to come by.
We were patient in waiting to land Buck, but we're open to negotiations.

I guess a better answer to your question is, Phil Hubbard jumping out the gym.

I was hoping he could use the support and run the point, but turnovers are our biggest problem right now, so we're going to move him off the ball, and ask him to lock down defensively.

I do expect to win the division.
My problems in the first sim are plain and simply turnovers.
We're rebounding the ball well, and our defense stands up.
Buck is ready for the center position.
He be in the weight room!

Well well well, here we are, Bruce Wayne, Gotham Gazette.

I came down here right after our GMs presser in NY. He had some explaining to do. Tough to see Buck go so soon but there seems to be plenty of hope back home, even though Buck came back and didn’t miss a beat.

What is surprising is your staff locking him in at Center at only 6’8”, He did have a great TC but to really win a ship this year you’re going to have to get pass some big duos in the paint, especially in the West. Tell me more about why you think he can handle his new position.

Go Knicks

The strength is definitely there!
The rebounding is elite.
And he puts a ton of pressure on opposing centers as well.
Everybody has to play both ends of the floor, remember that.
