How are you planning on adjusting what isn't working out for you?
Rules: 1 point if you give thoughtful answers, which I will award after the timer ends for responses. The timer ends for responses at the moment the corresponding week's Sim is run.
Note: Use approximately 5 sentences as your bare minimum for 1 point. If you write 3 long, complex sentences, you'll still get a point. If you write 5, 3 word sentences, you will not get a point. Don't @ me.
Due: Due by the deadline for sim 4

What does your team look like right now?
Right now my team looks ready to take a step forward. A few close losses have landed us even in the win category, but tell me we can elevate our play and be one of the better teams in this league.
What looks good? What looks bad?
Offensively, we get buckets. I'm happy with our field goal percentage and how many shots we're getting. I'm not in love with our turnovers, but I am more concerned with our free throw percentage. We get to the line a ton, and we're near the bottom of the league in percentage, gonna see if we can address that at the break.
Defensively we do many things well, but don't necessarily get the job done. With the number of blocks and steals we get, I would expect to be holding teams to lower numbers, but we need to keep our fouls down and contest better at the rim.
How are you planning on adjusting what isn't working out for you?
First of all, we're thrilled to welcome David Greenwood! he is going to be a boost to our front-court and an improvement to that defense. I also think he will fit nicely with our offensive approach and get to the free throw line as well. Besides adding him, and training at the free throw line I am looking at a tweak in my rotation and more traditional defense. I see that defense is often what separates good teams in this league, and we can be that.

My team looks beat up lol. I don't what to do or if there is anything to do about it, especially for this upcoming sim. Both my wings, Mike Mitchell and now James Bailey, are hurt. I don't have anyone else that can really fill that hole. On the flip side, the beginning of the season has shown me that I've got a decent team put together, if healthy. If another key player falls out injured, though, I may need to start exploring some options on the trade market, which would be very disappointing.
At full strength, the thing bugging me the most is getting the most rebounds in the league, and yet sitting below the middle of the pack in defensive rebounds. This is driving me bonkers, and I'm not sure what I should do about it. Because we give up so many offensive rebounds. Like wtf guys
Anyway, the plan right now is to just maintain until we get Mike Mitchell back in January. Unfortunately, we have 9 games next sim and plenty of opportunities for someone else to fall out too. We'll probably fall out of first to the Suns next sim, but hopefully we can claw our way back toward 1st by the all star break, or just afterward. We still have a winning road record, for now, so that's cool, too.

What does your team look like right now?
My team is trying to figure out their Identity. They look good at times. They look bad at times. They outscore some opponents and get blown out vs others. This type of stuff come with a youthful team tho. The highs and lows are apart of the process until their full potential is unlocked.
What looks good? What looks bad?
The good is being able to get to the free throw. The bad is the percentage at the charity stripe. Some of the games we loss was because of missing 10 or more free throws. Some games if I recall, the team missed 20 free throws. Might be exaggerating but gotta make those freebies.
How are you planning on adjusting what isn't working out for you?
I don't know if there's much to be done as far as adjustments. Instead we are almost to the point where we're just rolling with the punches I guess and hope to make the postseason in the process. Maybe some lineup adjustments may need to be made at some point. We'll probably tweak things hear and there with our Gameplan and hope for the best.

We're still mired in mediocrity, which is annoying. "Win at home" and "lose on the road" is pretty much the definition of a fringe playoff team. I'm hoping this is just a result of "small sample size" but I'm also not going to sit pat much longer if things don't change.
What looks good? What looks bad?
We're bad in some of the same places we were last year (turnovers and assists) but I didn't address those, so it's expected. What has been an unpleasant surprise is that last season we were among the top-shooting squads in the league, and now we're bottom half... and I trained us in defense and brought in last year's DPOY... and we're awful on defense. That's not expected and not acceptable.
How are you planning on adjusting what isn't working out for you?
I've made some tweaks to my defensive gameplan and we'll see if that helps. If not, it's clear I'm going to have to make some trades to improve our defensive play.

What does your team look like right now?: The Knicks are shining right now. Really well balanced down low with 2 double double threats in Corzine and potential ROY Buck. Really balanced on the perimeter with Green and Griffith, and Dr. J is the glue that keeps it all together. Love being the team to beat, lot of ball to play, but I think we matchup well with anyone in the league this year. Come get some.
What looks good? What looks bad?: Our rebounding looks great. We are a nightmare on the boards. Corzine, Bucky, and Julius are tough to compete with when the ball is in the air. Not much looks bad, but would like to play a bit better defense on the perimeter. Allowing too many assists, but if we limit those then we will be in a position to win any game.
How are you planning on adjusting what isn't working out for you?: I am in the 'if it aint broke don't fix it' stage. Slight adjustments to defense gameplan to try an keep some of those assist numbers in check, but keep doing what I am doing. Learning for the playoffs.

My team is looking better than I expected at the beginning of the year. We are currently 14-7 with a lot of games left to play. I am hoping to keep pace at where we are currently at by the end of the year.
What's good is our scoring production is up 7 points per game from last season. Adjusting the game plan and using our rookie early and often makes us a lot better team. Our opponent's points per game are up a little as well, but the differential is completely different.
What's bad is the Bucks going 10-0 over the last ten games. Obviously, games could be one here and there. The biggest weakness I find is my fouling. The free throw differential is atrocious.
I'm tinkering with line-ups and game plans currently. Trying to find the best fit with our players to be the most successful. I don't need a drastic change, but some minor ones should help.

What does your team look like right now?
I'll be honest, it doesn't look good. I've said before that we didn't have high hopes but this is not what I expected. I really thought we'd be competing a bit more, at least scoring some points but we aren't even averaging 100 points/game. This is bad. Like really really bad
What looks good? What looks bad?
What looks good? well....uhhhh....nothing looks good. I don't know if you can find anything good to say right now.
What looks bad? well....uhhhh....everything looks bad. I don't know if you can find anything that isn't bad.
How are you planning on adjusting what isn't working out for you?
Probably not gonna adjust anything. Just gonna let the season play out, hope for a good draft spot, and continue to develop our young guys. We have 4 first round picks in the next two drafts (for now) so hopefully we can keep bringing in young talent and turn them into superstars. Still got a ways to go before we end up where we want to be

My team looks slightly under what I thought it would look like but I can't complain. I think I had more competition show up in my Division than anticipated. Also had a 7-2 Road/Home stretch so being 1 game behind the leader after 3 sims is pretty solid.
I haven't changed much yet, I was planning on it this sim but just went 7-0 so hard to change anything after you do that, but might try to switch some players around and see how they do in upcoming sims.

My team started the season a little slow, but it’s absolutely cooking right now. On a streak, catching up to the Knicks in the Win column. Billy knight has been an absolutely bright spot on this roster. Spark plug coming off the bench that we were expecting and then some! A little disappointed in Bill Laimbeers offensive output, but there are only so many bucket available in a game, and we got like 7 dudes averaging 9pts or more.
