Bullets Have Names

Well ladies and gentlemen,
We Did It!
This group of individuals has gone into a new mode of being.
We banded together to lift up this great sport and take it to new heights.
We toiled through days and weeks of opportunities and adjustments, just to prove that this mountain of a task was not beyond our capabilities.
We showed patience and skill, and planned our best plans, and now is the time to see, who will land the first ship?
The Washington Bullets are proud to announce great optimism for the 1980 season.
We hired a kid, Mike Lowry, fresh out of high school to manage our roster.
He is a lil awkward, and likes to play with electronics, but he also loves the game of basketball!
When he ran his plan down, I have to say I wasn't sold right away.
He said the league is ripe for a pivot.
I don't know, Kareem has dominated the recent history, but he made some sense when he pointed to the 3-point line.
He said the future is in the guards, especially guards that can pass, handle, and shoot from outside.
I can't say for sure that he's right, but considering the rule change, I guess it's my job to make sure this happens.
The Washington Bullets will be lobbying heavily for rule more rule changes that favor fast pace and high scoring.
If we have to buy a few referees, we're not above it.
We're here to get money, and it takes money to make money.
We're very happy with our inaugural draft class.
Brad Davis is certainly going to pick on some weak backcourts in our division and lead us to a playoff appearance.
We added some strong wing support in Michael Ray Richardson and Alvan Adams.
We're expecting that backcourt play to carry the heavy side of the game for us.
Our trade block has not been released yet, but we're likely to be active this season.
Haven't yet decided which direction we'll head, and probably will wait a few sims to see where we are, but we fully expect to move pieces at the trade deadline.
Our starting five will be:
Kent Benson
Alvan Adams
Terry Tyler
Micheal Ray Richardson
Brad Davis
We're going to share the ball and score a ton of points.
This is the future of the NPBSL.
Hope you enjoy the show.
