#SLOE: People's Basketball Sim League

Please post here if you wish to put your name forward for Sim Pick em coordinator. The deadline will be due December 6th at 5pm central. If only one person takes the position, it will be theirs. If there are multiple nominations, we will hold a vote to decide shortly after. If there is no coordinator we will not conduct the activity for the season.

Sorry, it's been quite a while. Can you remind me what the rules for Sim Pick'Ems are and how this differs from Sim Vegas?

No problem at all!

Sim Vegas is run usually as a one time, year long, ballot consisting of questions related to the sim year. Who will win divisions, who will be MVP, will this team make the playoffs, etc. I was running it most recently, where I would make them due at the second sim, and then count them in the post/offseason. I’ve routinely charged a fee to enter and did the point distro for the winners based amount of entrants to avoid point inflation.

Pick Em was a per sim version of sim Vegas. Where it was free entry traditionally. The coordinator would create like 13 questions for the sim. Would be themed each time usually where the questions would matchups on the schedule for the sim and ask who would have the most assists, rebounds, win the tip off, etc.

I have ran both previously and would be more than happy to explain in more detail or help if you decide to take one on.
