#SLOE: People's Basketball Sim League

Dude, that Shoot Your Shot media was so good that the commish himself can’t stop thinking about it. Across the league, GMs hung on my every last word like it was scripture. The newest GM of all couldn’t help but describe in detail how it had enlightened him, and the commish has since essentially declared our friendship over (in so many words).

When you put something together with these kinds of responses, how can you not step back and recognize greatness?

In terms we all can understand, I would have to say that my previous article ranks somewhere between where Steph Curry and Shohei Ohtani do as legendary active players. I know there has been better media printed in the SLOE forum, but there is a serious argument to be made that in real time it was the greatest article that has ever existed in the league's history.

If my Shoot Your Shot article were a real person, I would probably have to take it out to dinner at Nusr-Et Steakhouse. So much flash and style could only exist in such an overpriced establishment that Saltbae himself would be inclined to touch my article like it was the World Cup.

A little known fact: My article actually traveled back in time to Kanye West’s inbox the morning he woke up and wrote the song Good Morning, a classic of its time - less so now that he’s such a wild and crazy piece of shit - but for its time it was hard to deny how inspired that track was, mostly because he read my PBSL article immediately before heading to the studio to record Good Morning.

That’s how good my article was. Consider this article a nomination for that article’s inevitable Media Entry of the Year Award.

Listen @AngryBanana , this is a satirical, league-related article. I am all for you taking the media czar responsibility and making it your own, but my final joke in an article full of jokes was that I was nominating another one of my articles for MEOTY. This is not a literal nomination, nor could it be as noms aren't open yet. I don't know why you're taking one thing literally in an article where the previous paragraph involved time travel, kanye west and his unique taste for PBSL media. Come on, man.
