Pistons Championship Parade in the Pre-Season

That's right... Since we are a full tax balls deep team, we are holding our Championship Parade during the preseason to simultaneously celebrate our 3rd consecutive championship last season and the upcoming 4th consecutive championship we are about to win this season. Gotta pinch pennies where we can in this economy.

A quick recap of the historic 79-3 Championship season (technically 95-3 since we swept our way through the playoffs)... Pretty much our star studded cast did what they do best. Dominate. We made past contenders tap out early, which is understandable. There were other teams who stepped up to the challenge, and we applaud their courage and tenacity! But in the end, our purpose here in Detroit is to set records and make history. And we are well on the way to doing that. First up, becoming the 2nd GM (Pistons GM & SLOE GM) to have a 4-peat. But that is only the first step. We are just starting to cook here in Detroit

Shout out to Kel'el Ware for his contributions last season. We were glad to get him a ring and help him secure a MONSTER bag in the off-season. He was a hired gun to help us bring home the bounty... This year we didnt have to look too far for a replacement, as Jonathan Kuminga joined the squad to ride this ship to the finish line. He saw we had a need and offered him a chance to potentially set up 1 more payday for him and get him the ring the Mavericks never could get him...

It's gonna be a fun season! Ready to see who's going to make me sweat first ;)

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: What's the most fun you've had in sim league? It seems like you're getting fantastic results, but you don't really have much to do in terms of making moves and playing the game.

Did you wait until 4:59 central to hit submit? Purposefully? When did you start writing this?

The earlier years when I had more time and energy for sim league was pretty crazy. My favorite times are rebuilding and starting from scratch, but I'll enjoy this run while it's going on. Hopefully can make sim league history again!

I was on the plane from Hawaii and catching up on stuff from work... so this was almost an afterthought! Just like this answer!
