Welcome to the Cavs Preseason Presser. We are pleased to welcome GM jlmarines.

GM jlmarines: Last season we finished the season on a disappointing note. We made it to the playoffs, however our defense struggle in the playoffs. We had no depth chart.

GM jlmarines: The good news we made SF Jonathan Isaac a priority. We resigned SF Isaac and he will retire as a Cavs. Both, SF Isaac and SG Vassell have not lost a step. I expect both players to make it again to the all-star. Isaac and Vassell will be playing with a chip on their shoulders.

GM jlmarines: I think it's safe to say the league is finally paying attention to PG Joaquin Guzman "El Chapo" Loera. This offseason our priority was to train El Chapo. We expect El Chapo to be a top PG in the league. to sign veteran players that could provide immediate depth to our defense.

GM jlmarines: UFA was quiet. We didn't bid too many free agents due to our limited cap space, however, we made few important moves. We sign veteran players that could provide immediate depth to our defense. We signed PF/SF Alphonse Morelock and C Albert Myers. Morelock and Myers brings a lot of experience and both are great rebounders. We also resigned C/PF Darryl Laclair. Laclair will provide immediate help the defensive side.

GM jlmarines: Most of our starters are back from last season. However, Vassell and El Chapo had a huge improvement during training camp. Vassell is now a purple player and El Chapo is now a blue player. We expect the Cavs to be a much better team from last season.

GM jlmarines: We expect a solid year and here's are starting 5 for the current moment:

C: Gregory Kozak
PF: Alphonse Morelock
SF: Jonathan Isaac
SG: Devin Vassell
PG: El Chapo
6th: EJ Liddell

The rest of the contenders in this league have very deep teams that have multiple superstars. Does checks notes....el Chapo's inefficient scoring hinder you? Should you have actually tried to get a start at point guard to help with the aging Isaac and Vassell? You're high on him, but the numbers suggest you shouldn't be. at least not as your 3rd best player.

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: The Cavs are a team built on the offensive efficacy of Jonathan Isaac and Devin Vassell. While Loera can distribute the ball, it undoubtedly helps that most of those passes are going to two of the most dynamic scorers in the league. As there's only one ball, with the game on the line, if the defensive matchups are equal, who gets the ball on the last possession...Isaac or Vassell...and why?

C Kevon Looney or C Joseph Little. I made offers for both players. Unfortunately, they signed with the Bucks. I need a Center that will provide immediate help on the defense. Thanks for the question.

Agree. I did try to find another star. Did my best, and made many offers during UFA. Unfortunately, I missed on most of them. I will continue to train El Chapo. He might not be the best PG in the league, however don't sleep on him. El Chapo can play. Thanks for the question.

Last season I would have said Isaac. Today, its definitely Vassell. Why? It's a historical day for the Cavs. For the first time ever, I have a purple player. In addition, he was developed by the Cavs coaching staff. Vassell was drafted by the Cavs and trained by our genius GM. Vassell is Mr. Cleveland. In Vassell We Trust! Thanks for the question.

JMP. We all know he's great at passing. But, I need El Chapo to score more points. There's teams with multiple purple players. I need to average 140pts per game to beat the Pistons. Thanks for the question.
