#SLOE: People's Basketball Sim League

THIS IS A NEW AWARD. This should be the GM who you think has either been the best help throughout the year to other members, has participated in nearly everything throughout the year, or has given the best responses in Town Halls.

Anybody who submits a nomination can claim 1 point (excluding self-nominations)

Max is 1 point, even if you submit nominations in other categories

Winning nomination gets an additional point like last season

I feel like this is going to be MexicanMamba's award year in and year out. The guy has always been helpful not only this season, but for as long as he has been around. He will always talk shop on trades, and will give his unfiltered view on what he thinks about players without the concern of him sliming his way in to steal the deal. He is also a real one for sending player cards while not being the commissioner anymore. In addition to all of that he does articles year in and year out that are usually more help to others then himself. Look no further then this years article on how younger GMs can build up their rosters from where they are currently.

I'm going to nominate BigDaddy8720 from the Pelicans. He's a very new GM, but he's jumped right into the mix of things and took on the extremely demanding role of Pick 'Em Coordinator (even though he made the questions way too easy and then started a smear campaign on me for winning out at the end). He also referred the Timberwolves new GM if I'm not mistaken, and having no RoboGM'd teams is really nice. It's incredibly tough to convince anyone else to play this stupid game, so kudos.

Self noms don't count for the point so here's my non self nom.

My quoted message is one of many I could have quoted. He's in town halls giving advice and answering questions. He's in the Facebook group answering questions. He's even starting commissioner tasks for me to offload my duties. This guy has been a great resource for new GMs, old GMs, the new Commissioner. The best thing about it though? He's always super nice in doing so. He never makes you feel like you're being a burden. He doesn't even slide sarcastic remarks in it. He just helps folks and goes about his business. That 4500 town hall giving people advice! I mean chefs kiss on my nomination. I hate you, but I'm leaving mine up. Because he deserves it

I'll pop in a nomination for the commish.

For one, he's the Commissioner, which means that by job title he's helping everyone by managing our D2D operations and keeping the league alive. Since taking over, he's also started diving more into the other aspects of the league too, like writing articles, memeing, podcasting, and continuing to do Town Halls. This season he brought in a new GM to fill the league to boot. More than all that, you'll be hard-pressed to find someone as passionate about the league as he is. Now, sometimes that may rub people the wrong way, but there's no denying that Nate cares about this league. He's out there with his hands in it. Building relationships, working through trades with people for him and others, giving advice, etc.
