S69 Town Hall #1: Venting session

I forgot to do a town hall. Someone else came up with a thread that could be a town hall
here. If you respond to that thread or this one, meeting the criteria below, you will get a point.
Rules: 1 point if you give
thoughtful answers which I will award after the timer ends for responses. The timer ends for responses at the moment the corresponding week's Sim is run.
Note: Use approximately 5 sentences as your bare minimum for 1 point. If you write 3 long, complex sentences, you'll still get a point. If you write 5 3 word sentences, you will not get a point. Don't @ me.

New S69 Town Hall call
Moving forward, I'm not coming up with Town Halls this season. So I invite you to come up with one. Yes, you. Got an idea you want the league to write about? Just post it. One town hall per sim, first GM to post the question will get 1 point for asking the question, and can get another point for answering.
You will only get 1 point for asking a question throughout the season, so if you double up on questions, you still only get 1 point.
Got it? Good, I don't care. Just do it.
...and +1pt to @78# for giving me the idea to outsource the job this way.

I'm pissed that all this PBSL action happened in the trade thread, and I had no idea about any of it until 5 hours after it happened, and I tried responding as soon as I got every new pertinent piece of info. If I could do it all again, I'd shut the Frye up until I talked to everyone involved and just asked 'whatd I miss' and let all parties catch me up. Who knows? Maybe we would have a done deal.
Instead, I'm also pissed that, the Bucks have received more comparable or arguably worse offers for Ware. And so I sit here stuck with a grudge against a miscommunication over PM while I was deep in work mode, and trying to make a call that respects the quality of Ware without really being a manager of him or his team. And I'm pissed because why?
I'm not even pissed anymore. I'm just venting. #stewardlife

Oh, I am still pissed about the Mavs/Bucks no trade, and I'm writing an article about it. My main beef is that Parker and Clark for Kel'el Ware is fair deal. Kel'el Ware has no reason to be on the bucks. He is probably going to turn into another Victor Wembanyama and hold the bucks in that dreaded middle ground with an ageing core that can't be bad enough to get a good draft pick and doesn't have enough free capital to add through the free agency.
My main beef isn't with anyone in particular its with this idea in the league that, win now 30 year old max contract players have a super high trade value, they don't, they shouldn't, and there are reasons why. I'm going to get into in the article. (Speaking of which anyone want a 31 point guard who lead the league in assist last year. Who's quick, defends, and rebounds. No. That what I thought.)
I pissed Parker gets no love. Parker is legit, I might just put a few point into her to turn her purple, just to prove it. New goal forget the title turn Parker purple. We'll see which way I go.

Lets not forget the market value of the last purple pot trade. It seemed to work out pretty well for the magic.

I'm pissed about going from a 9-0 perfect start with SVG balling out (27ppg) and Lauri going nuts (21ppg, 2spg, 3bpg) and just looking like a BAWS. I was so excited to have at hot start to the season as opposed to one of those 3-4/4-5 sims I'm accustomed to having for Sim 1. But here we are. Resimmed up after a bonkers trade didn't go through (sorry LTS, i disagree with your fair grade for that trade). Here I am, sitting at 8-1 with SVG averaging 8 less ppg... I wanted his sexy purple ass to show out after getting UPGRADED! But you know what the worst part is...? The worst part is having to look up the standings at the Rockets' nasty ass. I WANT THAT DIVISION TITLE. DAMN YOU RESIM, DAMN YOU!

I want to vent about how no one asked me a presser question. We have all these other people mad about the trade, I really dont care about that. Penny needs more people to care about Penny. Remember, a Penny saved is a Penny earned... And no one has earned Penny so far this season, so don't come to Penny's DMs asking for anything.

I am annoyed how Doug is so happy with his team and his multiple purple players that he feels a need to gloat about it by constantly commenting in this thread. Like why Doug??? Do you think you are better than everyone? You are acting like you have an undefeated season and you don't. You never did. Besides that, I am probably willing to vent about the fact that Cruce got hit hard in TC, after getting a big contract, and not even being 30 yet.That sucked, but he was also a multiple player of the game rep for sim 1 so he aint all that bad.

I don't really have anything to vent seriously about right now, so, lets just poke some fun. Let me vent about Jon demanding more than points for Byron last season, then trading him for only points in the off-season. Let me vent about the Mavs not understanding that it'd take an obscene amount of points to turn Parker purple. I'll vent about the Bucks being an open team at all right now because some of the teams ya'll let your friends take instead are way worse off. I'll vent about a lack of offers for my boy Banchero, who is still better than a ton of guys out there who he could replace in a starting 5. Lemme vent about Amen Thompson ruining an extra title contender. Or about the Kings forgetting UFA 1 exists. Perhaps I can vent about Doug ... just because everyone else likes to vent about Doug. And I'll vent about having to vent because I want to earn one measley point right now!

I’m super duper annoyed that we went through the first sim and without ever consulting the Mavs, people just decided to resim. I went from 6-5 and off to a decent start to being 5-6 with two injuries. I’m always of the mindset that once something goes through, it’s done. I know it’s not anyone’s fault but I had a great actual first sim to a not so great first sim while multiple other teams came out ahead. I lost a little bit of faith in this league for a minute but that’s only gonna add more fuel to the fire when I fill everyone’s pouches.
Oh and if I happen to miss the playoffs by one game this season, I will curse everyone in this league with an ingrown toenail for 11 days. Hope you all don’t enjoy walking around much.

I'm annoyed @jlmarines is going to waste two bona fide franchise stud careers in Jonathan Isaac and Devin Vassell because he refuses to take an honest assessment about the talent surrounding them. How you dont move Chief K, Marotta, and Joaquin Guzman this past offseason is beyond me. The Cavs gave up 136 points to the Utah Jazz in Sim 1. And they lost. Like dude, what are you doing? I'm calling it right now. Jae Wilcox and Ernesto Cruz will stay on this team past the trade deadline. Prove me wrong.

Aside from my normal struggle with injuries, pretty much everything about sim 1 was basically one huge sign that it's time to retire. I don't want to go into this too much, but the whole situation caused hours of extra work. The resim was on me...my inputting error...but resimming was the right call, and the results of the resim are the proper results for better or for worse. At this point, I could care less about the injuries on my team or the slow start. I'm already tired enough of putting in so much time on this, and this question isn't helping.

I’m still mad about Amen Thompson not coming back for a supermax. I made a move for another proven player, and still had Amos and he said “he wanted to go to the better team.” With the way Harper is playing already, I really could’ve walked away with this division and had a solid playoff run. Now I gotta actually work for this shit and going into tax just to end up with another early round exit probably. I hope the Wizards lose as long as he is there. Stupid.

I'm pretty heated that the resim delivered marginally better team results, but drastically worse individual ones. So I'm far less sure of what my Sim 2 adjustments should be. I had an entire plan ready and waiting to post, and then I checked on the index and suddenly those plans didn't make as much sense. But the ghost sim's results weren't just a mirage...right?

1. I want to vent about the Mavs.....Lie again! That trade isn't on any planet good. Parker isn't good and nor is clark. you inflate your players constantly. Both players are quite literally barely blue. Parker doesn't have a single stat above 90, currently or projected....Nah i can do better. Parker doesn't have a single attribute projected higher than 83. She's just athletic. As your new(eventually) commissioner. I encourage you all to ask for your players profiles so that you can actually see the deeper picture about your players. Not just before training, but even before trading. The letters don't always tell the picture, and that is the biggest example with Parker. Now I'll leave the mavs cheating ways alone.
2. I'm annoyed that Phil was hurt in both of the sims. The first sim that didn't happen(technically) and the 2nd sim he got hurt HURT. Basically the sim gods said, nah bruh, Uncle Phil getting this injury no matter what. I think the Suns in this program are cursed. I don't know what it is but no matter what this team NEVER achieves it's preseason outlook. Whether it's injuries, or the inability to win games on the road. I'm pretty sick of this franchise and I wish I could be someone else, but I was always denied the luxury of switching teams. So if anyone wants to switch....maybe that will help. Just wait until i'm Comish and i'll approve that ish. END RANT

B. Oh I did ask for her player profile, her future rating was 120, than I trained her future passing from C to B, so unless she took a hit to future skill level that I don't know about, her future rating should be at 140. Barely blue, please. You should check her profile before hating.

Mamba can verify that the last player profile I got she was at 120. AFTER I got the player profile, I trained her passing. So I guess she took a hit at so point.
