Welcome to the Cavs Preseason Presser. We are pleased to welcome the one, the chosen, jlmarines.
GM jlmarines: Last season we finished the season on a disappointing note. However, once again we dominated the Grizz and Celtics. It's clear AB and K100 know the Cavs are a team to be afraid of.
GM jlmarines: PF Jonathan Isaac and SG Devin Vassell are back. Both are stronger, faster, and mean as a dog. The Cavs will once again make it to the playoffs. Expect a deep run. This offseason our priority was to sign veteran players that could provide immediate depth to our stud PF Isaac and SG Vassell. Last season we had no depth.
GM jlmarines: We are pleased to sign C Elton Harris, C James Northrup, and C David Douglas. Just a bunch of hungry dogs, ready to win. We also sign PF Darrel Perez and SF Karlo Pearson. PF Perez and SF Pearson are great defensive players who will also provide immediate help for PF Isaac.
GM jlmarines: SF Jason Marotta had a great TC. We are excited to see SF Marotta improve from last season. Do not sleep on Marotta and our PG Darius Garland. Age is just a number. PG Garland has a lot of juice left and is ready to lead the team.
GM jlmarines: We expect a strong year and here's are starting 5:
C: Elton Harris
PF: Jonathan Isaac
SF: Jason Marotta
SG: Devin Vassell
PG: Darius Garland

What lessons have you learned from last season's playoff experience?

Given the big man depth you have and the tax your team is currently facing. Are you going to be willing to sell of Chief in favor of a lower tax bill?

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: What was the biggest move you tried to make but couldn't in the offseason, and what was the biggest move you should've tried but didn't?

Nick Melon; Orlando Sentinel: Which teams in the conference do you foresee as possible thorns in the side of Cleveland that could derail another post season run?

When I started playing SIM, which was over 2 years ago ( real time), having 3 blue players on your roster was amazing. Last season I had 4 blue players.
The reality is, if you want to compete for a ring I need 5-6 blue players on my roster. That's what I learned. I just didn't have enough blue players. I thought I could with Issac and Vessell leading the team.

Absolutely. I did very well during UFA. Signed great players for much less salary. Will see who's will to trade.

That would be Chief K. I wanted to get rid of him but I didn't try hard. My goal is to trade him during the season for pts.

Timberwolves, Celtics, and the Bulls. The Bulls are ridiculously loaded with talent. It's probably the team to beat.

Chet Youbetcha, Dimmadome News: Why did you go with Harris over the obviously better James Northrup.

Devin Vassell went from Rookie of the Year to Most Improved/All-Star in Year 2 so what is your prediction for Year 3?

Devin Vassell is a dog. Year 3 is going to special. I think he will be All-League 2nd Team. Thank you for your question.

Startin 5 is subject to change any moment. Northrup will play significant. He's a major player on this roster. Don't be surprise, if he starts sooner than later.
