Self nom time!

I felt it at the time and still think it holds up as a deal where everyone got exactly what they wanted/needed. I got size and roster flex, Varga got another great wing scorer to pair with Akins, Carlos got financial relief, a nice young building block, picks, and X got some points.

Charlie singlehandedly traped his way to a season-turnaround (18-10 since ASB with 1 sim left). He grabs a top end defensive stud and not shabby on offense for a mid rookie scale wing, likely late 1st & not even the maximum amount of points. Props for Nick for cashing in now I suppose. Better to get something than nothing if he leaves in UFA. Charlie gets a stud player though (and bird rights for UFA) to bring him back and finally give Gates a running mate.

Great trade by both teams. The Cavaliers found their point guard and the Suns got a lot of cap relief. It really was a win-win trade.
