After a challenging season, the team is excited to share some major developments with you. Joining us today are the team's General Manager RPF, Coach RPF, and our newly drafted player, Jordan Hawkins. Without further ado, let's get started.



GM RPF: Good afternoon, everyone. Thank you for being here today. I'd like to begin by addressing the challenging season we just experienced. It was undoubtedly a difficult year for the Brooklyn Nets and our loyal fans. However, I want to assure you that our commitment to excellence has never wavered.

We approached the draft with the utmost determination to turn our fortunes around. After careful evaluation and consideration, we are thrilled to announce that we have selected Jordan Hawkins with the 2nd overall pick in the NBA Draft.



GM RPF: Jordan is a phenomenal talent, and we believe he has the potential to make an immediate impact on our team. At just 19 years old, Jordan possesses a unique skill set that caught the eye of our coaching staff and scouting department. We are confident that he will be a valuable addition to the Brooklyn Nets family.


Coach RPF: Thank you, everyone. We're extremely excited about the future of the Brooklyn Nets with Jordan on board. His abilities on the court are impressive, and we believe he will complement our existing roster exceptionally well. What went wrong in your Ron Harper Jr. build that you plan to correct with your Jordan Hawkins build?

How do the challenges of making sure your young players all survive things like training camp and impending paydays when you don't have a lot of points coming in from winning compare to the challenges of having a win now team that racks up the points, but has to spend a lot on tax, and which is more fun?

There's often pressure to maximize the short-term competitiveness while being mindful of the team's financial health.
