Rules: 1 point if you give thoughtful(and I stress THOUGHTFUL) answers which I will award after the timer ends for responses. The timer ends for responses at the moment the corresponding week's Sim is run.
Deadline Friday 5pm, Sim #3.
Question: We've already seen lots of trade activity after the last sim...What or Who is the next domino to fall? Who goes ALL IN with a trade and/or WHO decides this season is a wrap and goes all OUT by selling the talent?

I'm going to say the Pistons as the answer for every question in Town Hall #4. They traded Ned Lomax and got some nice rebuilding pieces in Griner and Carrasco, then they traded Griner and Millsap to bring in Mikal Bridges. By trade deadline, they will both deal Harold Schiff to rebuild and Bernardo Carrasco to win now. They will deal Murphy III before today's sim to get picks and points, and they will get him back before sim 8. Through it all, Doug will claim that "nobody wants to trade!" in the PBSL FB chat.

I think the cavs might want to look at a situation where they go all out. They made some trades that look to have them in the middle of the pack area. I think there are teams that could benefit from some folks in their roster and trading out to reload/rebuild should be something they like to accomplish. This does hinge on their next few sims. The counter to that could be for them to continue to buy but they did exhaust a lot making the moves to go all in, in the off-season

My hope is that the Mavs make a deal to further build their cache of prospects. They can move Kyle Kuric pretty easily I think. Everyone loves a PG, and he is a competent one stuck on a roster underperforming (and hurting his stats). Then sending out potentially Josiah Blair for points would help even more in that he could send Blair to a team competing as a great depth player. Then, I would pivot to trying to take on players for points to try to develop these young guys

Reckon the Memphis Grizzlies will shop Genaro Montoya and
KC Ndefo before the deadline. Whether anyone wants to deal is the question?

I would say the Spurs. Only if their GM stop with detachment issues. They have the young pieces to make a move for a win now player but always seems to play the waiting game. One thing I have heard from a source close to the situation that they may or may not be looking for a point guard but so is over half the league. They will need to do something soon or those fans will be calling for the GM's removal.

I dont know if they WILL make a move, but I think the Hawks need to do something. It can be a tax reset by paying the Nets to take Diallo's contract or use that contract to pair with an asset and upgrade on the perimeter, it doesn't matter. They have a nice group of win-now players, so the right addition could be huge. It'd be understandable to want to tax reset too though since this off-season is going to be an expensive one with Johnson an RFA and Phil and Lucas hitting UFA. What they shouldn't do is stand pat though.

Sources indicate that the Suns have been on the horn, talking to the Jazz since after Sim 1. It is not clear yet what the transaction would look like, but we are being told that Digiskunk is only willing to take on Anas Mahmoud in the event that he can send back Samuel Hamilton. Digiskunk believes that Hamilton is to blame for the poison ivy outbreak in the Jazz locker room after going to a local dairy farm SLC to get some mushrooms. The Suns are not willing to accept this trade, as they do not want to trade one rash for another.

The Kings. The Kings only chance was to stay healthy. The injury of Marvin Rademacher, leaves the Kings with no depth. If lucky, they might be the 7th seed. However, it will be difficult to achieve. At this point, it's probably the best to trade and look for young talent.

I keep coming back to the Suns. I think he reallly wants to blow it up but his record won’t let him. So really he should just go all in and trade Akins for Schiff and finally bring another championship to the desert. Those fans deserve it!
