PrepP: Thanks for attending. We will make this short and sweet and then take some questions.
This has been a difficult offseason for the team in the sense that we have had some off-court issues arise which hindered us from making many moves to better the team via FA. We are very happy with what our coaching staff has done over the past several years with our young prospects and we are finally seeing that come to fruition with our young core of Kobe, Jackson, and Thomas becoming well respected players in the league.

We were able to bring back both Mike Bibby and Brad Miller who are crucial parts of this team as well and we are feeling good overall about our starting 5. We've also brought in vets Bryant Reeves and Matt Maloney for depth off the bench. Wally Szczerbiak returns as another 3 point specialist off the bench.

I am very impressed with the shooting on this roster and we are planning to tweak our gameplan slightly to look for more 3 point shots. Everyone will have the green light take the open 3.

At this time we will open it up for questions. Thanks!

Your team's trade block was randomly bumped fairly often this offseason, yet no trades were made so far by the Bulls. Were you looking to add talent, take a step back and trade for youth, or something else?

Is this team biding it's time or is it ready to compete now?

We were basically sending out feelers to see what kind of offers we would get. There were some that we seriously considered but ultimately decided to stay put. There was one offer that was very close to happening at the deadline but didn't go down after alot of back and forth. We were looking to get several younger prospects with good potential and or some picks for an already established young player. Things just didn't work out.
