I've made a lot of moves that I regretted later, and i did not make a single one of those moves this offseason. Im happy with everything I did besides low-balling Kuric. Also, Hub is looking fantastic.MexicanMamba wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 4:28 pm I'm sure those free agency results were disheartening, but what would you say was your biggest point of optimism from the preseason that gets you excited for the season?

I think you have to look at Cade, He Hor, Garland and Dort as the best PGs. I'd still put Dort a hair above Garland. That said, Garland should be able to run circles around Dort head to head, but I'm happier with Dort's first g/g year than I was, in retrospect, trading Caruso for Garland.garbageman wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 4:36 pm Sham Smith, Bulls.com: Way back in the day, the Warriors won the championship with Steph Curry at PG, right after HE sunk below the b/b border to g/g. With Luguentz Dort at a g/g 35, but still putting up solid preseason numbers, where do you think he ranks among the PGs in the league?
We cut ties with Poole a while ago and felt it was the right move at the time, and stick by that now. We're happy to see him continue his development (what up BLUE!), but we do think there are others who are not Kuric to fill that space. We don't know how we could go about acquiring them without losing someone else, though. It is what it is. We messed up with Kuric and we'll just move on.AngryBanana wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 5:35 pm Chet Youbetcha, Dimmadome News: While you talk about loosing out on Kurkic, and I get why you are upset to an extent. Do you think that their are either other players out there that could fill the position that he filled for your roster? OR do you also wish that you wish you could have kept Poole given he can also fill that role and was paid less in an RFA situation (where you could have "missed" out but still kept him?)
Well, for everyone that just left Golden State, who remained? It was Hub. Hub's the guy. We're all in on Hub. We have faith in Fabian and are excited for his future as a Warrior.K-100 wrote: Sun Nov 13, 2022 8:01 am You have developed a reputation of wheeling and dealing at a moment's notice, much like the recently (un)retired Quailman. I think it is awesome because it adds flavor to the league.
Soooo, how safe is Fabian Hub in Golden State?
I think we blew our chances when we missed out on signing Kuric, but even with Kuric we weren't expecting a title. We still see ourselves as a playoff team, which is exactly where we want to be. We got so tired of losing that, even without Kuric, we're pretty pleased with our team.Mike Lowry wrote: Sun Nov 13, 2022 1:48 pm You spent a considerable amount of capitol to assemble this roster,
Do you think your pieces are sustainable for a multi-year window?
Or are you hoping to contend for the Ship this year?
And if that's the case, are you eyeing any moves that could bolster your chances?
There are several teams I have my eye on: Bulls, Cavs, Heat, Nuggs, Grizzlies, and Wizards. That's 6 teams right there. I think I rank somewhere between them all, but if I understimate someone like, say, the Magic, then that's how I don't make the playoffs. Who knocks me out once I'm in the playoffs? Well, I see the Bulls, Grizz and Wiz as the top 3 most likely to make it to the finals in Omega conference.LazyTitanSmash wrote: Sun Nov 13, 2022 7:01 pm Who do you see knocking you out of the playoffs this season?
Today? Top 20, maybe top 15. Haven't looked into it too deeply, if I'm honest. But at his peak I think he will be one of the most versatile players of the league, likely sitting tight at Center instead of PF. But we shall see how we feel about all that when the time comes.pennpanther1 wrote: Mon Nov 14, 2022 11:21 am In terms of all the power forwards and centers in the league, where do you think Fabian Hub ranks?
I guess the real question is which of us will be Tonya Harding and who's Jeff Gillooly? Surely we can find our Shane Stant to crack out that Nancy K-100igan at the knees.jlmarines wrote: Mon Nov 14, 2022 11:36 am Justin Bieber, Teremana.com; Let's face it. We have a common enemy. K100 thinks his overrated team is going to win a ring. Do you think the Grizzlies is the team to beat? Also, you have a platoon of PGs. Anyone available?
Somewhere between AJ Blaze and Moses Moody? How excited are you to be back? And possibly slime all over me?IamQuailman wrote: Mon Nov 14, 2022 12:16 pm Sup boo? On a scale of 1 (Bobcats) to 10 (Bucks), how excited are you to see me back?
I do not feel good about it. He is loyal to the Golden State Warriors and their needs!digiskunk wrote: Mon Nov 14, 2022 3:06 pm Stephen Fartpuff, Providence Provider: The Warriors of the Golden State of California were able to win 25 games last season, which is the same exact number that Jim Thome wore when he hit 52 home runs for the Cleveland Indians (now Guardians) in 2002. With this in mind, how do you feel about the possibility of Fabian Hub leaving the team to pursue a career in carpentry?
Anything is possible, really, aside from Hub switching teams. If we suck? Sure! We'll be happy to pivot. If we are good? Frye it! We were trying to be good and fell just short of great. I'm okay with that, too.Xist2Inspire wrote: Mon Nov 14, 2022 4:06 pm Random Reporter: If Hub has a strong start to the season, is there a possibility that you might change direction and look to refocus the team around him come Day 60?
