Now that the Haun / Kai Jones deal is done, and especially for Josh having written an article imploring GMs to not let this deal happen, what are your thoughts? Was it mutually beneficial, or lopsided for the Pistons longevity of greatness while diving deeper and deeper into unrecoverable tax hell?

S59 has seen a huge uptick in media contributions compared with other seasons recently. Why now?

Season awards nominations continue to stay low this season. What could give this part of sim league a boost in engagement?

Sim Vegas, unlike sim league, is dead now. What was working, what wasn't working, and what could spark its revival should a new coordinator step up?

Love the return of pods. What's the easiest way for others to get a sim league pod going? Like, for free if possible, cuz I've tried some things with negative results

How many times will Zion go to IHOP in order to get in shape for this season?

Sim:

-The topic of restarting the league and using real players again always seems to pop up whenever things get slow, however, it's almost always us old, crusty GMs that bring it up. As new(ish) GMs, what's your honest opinions on the idea?

Non-Sim:

-With Summer once again bringing crazy heat around the globe, what's your favorite way to cool down and beat the heat?

Now that I’ve had some time to listen…

I think it’s interesting that we observed more GMs having things that excited them about sim league this season and thus wrote more articles…the same year the Pistons are wrecking everyone and theoretically putting the future of sim league in jeopardy! Not trying to say anything here other than I kind of love that. I just love that even if winning the title is out of the question for almost everyone, many are still having fun.

Re: Scott’s and my beef, I took a blown up trade discussion that season (for who? Don’t remember) as ammunition to go crazy on him when we met in the first round of the playoffs. Needless to say, he did not appreciate it. I felt bad when he left the chat, so I eventually rectified things by bending over in the Caruso Garland deal - a trade that nearly destroyed sim league.

For Safi’s stripper song, it was somewhat randomly picked with a “feeling good song” Google search, but it was exactly the song I was wanted and sought. Those horns! I love Nina Simone, hate that I bastardized her song like that, but could not resist it for the lulz. I also almost never pay attention to lyrics, hence the googling.
