Balls O'Hard: good afternoon and welcome to our press conference. I can't explain how ecstatic I am to start another season with this group. For so long, we were in build mode and really we're taking us where the wind blew. Finally we were able to see our patience pay off 2 seasons ago and win a nba championship.

Balls O'Hard: it's true what they say though. The second one is always harder. While it may not have looked it from the outside, we had turmoil to manage. We had a devastating injury to Cade to close our year out. We managed to maintain home court in the playoffs which paid off.

Balls O'Hard: We played a lot of tough teams, and even one who we considered to be evenly matched with us in the Clippers in the finals. We were sad to see Dort get injured in the finals because we truly wanted to test this team versus the best. We did hold serve and win because we didn't take our opponent lightly, however they were valiant in their effort and brought us to 6. Congratulations to the clippers for being honorable and courageous, you have our respect.

Balls O'Hard: Gerry lead our team and got the finals MVP and we thank him for his play and overall leadership to our group. But it's really hard to single out one player for our team because we're doing it all as a group. One big call id like to make is for Frank Daily who took a team first attitude and played off the bench and won the 6th man award. He had no ego when being asked to come off the bench and played the role as well as it's ever been played.

Balls O'Hard: To the matter at hand, this season. Like last season, where the Mahon of error to win back to back has gotten smaller, now it's nearly completely gone. We will have to be as close to perfect as any team has ever been to repeat again. As of right now, we have no major plans on moves but things can change. We are always looking to improve or extend our run if it makes sense.

Balls O'Hard: With that I'll open it up to questions!

Sounds like you have moved on from moving Kai Jones. Is the first ever 3-peat more important and if the 'right' offer for Kai came along would you risk the 3-peat to close the deal?

We had a long conversation with Kai and we're extremely happy to run it back. Overall if we can find a situation where Kai can keep his bird rights and us get a return then we may pull the trigger. But the championship is the pride here, not keeping a guy bc we want to get greedy.

Any comment of the new remix of the popular hit from nearly 50 years ago “Get Low” that the Milwaukee Bucks are using during their hype events? The Lyrics go something like the following:

FROM THE WINDOWWWWWWWWS
TO THE WALLS (to the walls)
DOES THE SWEAT FROM DOWN YOUR BALLS
NERVOUS DEEP DOWN IN YA DRAWLS
TIL ALL SKEET SKEET MOTHERBUCKER
TIL ALL SKEET SKEET GAWD DAYUM

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: Congrats on not only your second championship in a row, but your 6th championship as a GM, which ties you up with the_syndicate for second most rings in league history. Where do you see yourself in the GOAT GM conversation, and what else besides winning championships goes into defining a great GM?

The Bucks have been hell bent on beating your squad, do you see them as a legit threat and are there other teams you think that will be a tough matchup on your journey to a 3 peat?

Thank you for the congratulations! I think when you get into overall rankings and including yourself, it appears as poor form. I think overall being included is great and a huge compliment. To be mentioned in the same group as the greatest to ever do it is just an honor. At the end of the day, when we're engaged we have the utmost confidence in competing and beating anyone.

In terms of what makes a great Gm , I think the biggest thing is being able to have a flexible vision on what they want and being able to execute. Not flexible enough to be so pliable to blow everything up but to just adjust where you see changes needed. Sometimes that's a play style, sometimes it's trading frequency, and comes times it's just being able to stand pat knowing this isn't your time.

Hey, thank you for the questions. Yes, I'd give the bucks respect to say they're a threat. Frankly we consider anyone in the playoffs a threat. Injuries can happen at anytime to make you vulnerable.

In terms of other teams ? The usually suspects on the other side - Spurs / Clippers seem to be the top of the class. On our side, the jazz, the magic and the aforementioned bucks can cause some major issues. Getting the 1 seed will be a major steal for whoever obtains it.

Do you fear the Grizzlies off-seasons moves? How long can you hold them off with your current square? Does your square feel like the elder statesmen?
