I remember showing a few of you guys one of my songs & it got a lot of positive feedback.
This one is probably my favorite tracks to date, no chorus, just funky rhymes over a funky ass jazz beat.

Hahaha. No validation needed here, this is the one thing I know I'm somewhat good at. I'm just not very good at expressing myself outside of writing songs, so I figured I'd share. That said, I'll trade my 1st round pick for the first person to tell me I'm the goat.

I really liked the beat and the lyrics for the song. Quality stuff Sono, much like your trades.

But also that was maybe one of the only parts I could hear clearly. Either the beat was recorded too loud or vocals weren't loud enough.

Listened a few times. I am a rock / metal guy, so I abstain from any artistic discussion here.
Production, maybe I can discuss something. The song gets angry and is dynamic early then it kind of levels off and everything fades down uniformly just with no lyrics. Have you experimented with taking down some tracks at various points? The piano riff is nice, as is that 70's feel from the horns and high strings (or something).
This is not criticism. Just legit questions about production choices in an "educate me" vein.

I think the actual drums were fine (rare for me), but the other stuff is kinda high in tone, and at that volume (high?) seems to get tangled up a little in that high static on the vocals.
Agreeing with you, just trying to have more of a scalpel.

The original line was something like "I'm in love with a heroine, the feelings sublime" but it felt distasteful so I scrapped it. As for the quality, I lost a lot of my presets so I haven't been able to pump out solid audio quality of late. That should probably be my main focus right now.
42, the beat is "Ike's mood" by the visioneers.
