Sources from the league say that the Dallas Mavericks have made a strong pitch for De'Aaron Fox, and they're currently the frontrunners in Fox trade talks
Hearing a lot of trade rumbles in the Alpha conference. Day 60 trades may be something to keep an eye out for.
BREAKING: After speaking with GM Quailman, it is looking like Fox talks have progressed further than the league initially thought. Rumor has it a young star may be on the move in Philadelphia. Wiseman a Buck? Paugh and Fox playing together again?
ESPN SC BREAKING NEWS: Sources have now received word from De'Aaron Fox's camp that they were blindsided by this decision, and feel "betrayed" by the Bucks organization. The statement says: "De'Aaron has given his blood, sweat and tears for this organization since he was drafted, including multiple 6th Man of the Year awards as well as 3 All-League and 3 All-Star acknowledgements. The fact that the Bucks chose to wait to make this announcement when De'Aaron was out with a hand injury is an embarrassing reflection of their leadership, top to bottom." The statement goes further to list individual teams that De'Aaron would only play for, including the Los Angeles Lakers, the Orlando Magic, and New York Knicks. What a messy situation this is turning into. We will continue to cover this developing situation as it progresses throughout the day.
MORE ESPN SC BREAKING NEWS: Bucks GM rebuffed Nuggets trade offer to take on De'Aaron Fox. Heard the offer was a strong one involving, once again, a young prospect in hopes of pairing with Jerry West with Fox. Per GM Quail "I need better."
wojespn: Knicks owner/GM James Dolan Varga spoke up a few moments ago, when asked about a possible acquisition of De'Aaron Fox from the Milwaukee Bucks. He vehemently denied reports of a grandfather offer being made for the Bucks superstar. In a text message statement: "We can go out an sign his ass in free agency; why would we want to give up valuable assets to that poverty franchise. "
There's a mystery team in on the bidding for Fox and West - The Phoenix Suns. Just the like the Phoenix the city is named after, it appears the Suns GM will rise from the ashes of inactivity to acquire one, or both of these all-stars. A team source said, "Yeah, sure we got 3 purple potential players, but potential can't dribble a basketball."
Insiders close to the Bucks organization stated that the Timberwolves have reached out about De'Aaron Fox. To what extent, we were not told, but sources close to the situation feel Ja Morant could legitimately be looking for a new home if this conversation gets legs.
BREAKING: OKC is closing in on a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks that would send De'Aaron Fox to the Thunder in exchange for Pete Maravich. Nothing final yet, but developing quickly.
BREAKING: The Milwaukee Bucks are finalizing a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks that will send De'Aaron Fox to the Milwaukee Bucks for De'Aaron Fox and 10 points

Update: The owner has now individually reached out to 4 more teams to update the asking price. If a Center is not included in any trade offer the player in question will not be traded unless 3+ 1st round draft picks are included.

They could use a Center
@swipathefox: I prefer the heat and sun to the cold and miserable snow of Milwaukee anyway. #GoodRiddance #NewChapter #FutureIsBright

2 teams to watch out for as we head into the weekend before the trade deadline - the Brooklyn Nets and the Houston Rockets.
Lots of similarities here. Both are currently in luxury tax territory but can easily fall under the apron. Both have strong starting lineups but weak benches and both have assets that can be moved to get better as they are comfortably the #7 seeds in each of their conferences. Maybe something is brewing between them?
One free agent that could be on the move is Silky Johnson, formerly of the Bulls. When reached for comment we were informed by his representation that he couldn't be made available because he was LITERALLY DROWNING in max offers.
Several GM's noted that the champion Clippers were the overall #1 scoring team and then they won the title. When asked how they could get their squads to put the biscuit in the basket more often, they said: "You see that 4 of the top 7 scorers from last season are free agents, right?"
