It's today, like the offseason schedule has said since it was updated awhile back. There was a date mix up when the thread was actually created

You can offer Minimum deals, unless you have something like 2 or more bird years. Then you can offer whatever.

If the player was on your team last season AND has 3 or more Bird Years, you can offer him anything you want (up to the max). This is what Bird Rights do.... let you ignore the cap to re sign your own players.

If the player was not on your team or does not have at least 3 bird years you may only offer minimum salary offers.

In summary, bird years = whatever. No bird years = league mins

Did some minor work on the league updating scripts tonight.

Changes going forward:

1. Free Agents and Draft Preview pages should now be sortable.
2. Effective next time the index is updated, the links to "Past Years' Indices" on the left side (i.e., 1990-1991 that links to http://pbsl.ijbl.net/1990 ) will disappear. Instead, you will find links to past years' indices on the "Past Champions" page. (This will clean up the left menu bar a bit).

Also a couple of clarifications regarding Cuts during FA:

Any cut made during Free Agency WILL be available during the follow FA round. I.E. If Pooh Richardson was cut after Round 2, he will be available to be signed during Round 3.

Any cuts made before Training Camp WILL be available for Free For All Free Agency. This is to prevent teams from stockpiling players and cutting them pre-TC to prevent those players from being available during FFA.

Waivers do not kick in until after FFA starts. I.e. if you sign a player in FFA then cut him, that player will then follow the usual in-season Waiver system (cannot be signed until after 8PM the following day).

Since the clarification regarding bidding on cut players was made after a number of bids were already in, the following teams (bids sent in pre-clarification) can send in editted bids if they choose to do so:

Clippers, Hornets, Nuggets, Celtics, Sonics, Suns, Kings, and Jazz.

The rule will be reevaluated throughout the season, and if changes are made, we'll announce them prior to next year's FA.

I need some player positions changed before TC. Players have been getting nerfed when listed out of position.

Please change Rider to SG and Radja to PF.

Wont matter if changed, the computer will change the player back to the position he played the most the previous season.
