Flat out, egregious errors can't be fixed. Just take it, or take it and lose an overpaid blue guy, bid on scraps.

There are no errors when they happen to the Cavs.

When people did not get to bid on Cavs RFA's, wait... Put the League on hold. Make daammmmnnnn sure the prices go up.

When the Cavs get hammered and others benefit, Cavs eat it, or Cavs eat it differently.

The facts look different when they are all lined up. The patterns are clearer, aren't they?

No, no. Don't agree. Keep your heads down, or you are next.

The mistake 42 is talking about is 100% on me. When inputting contracts, I hit an extra zero at the end of the end of Webber's intended offer. If the keyed value in the contract field is larger than the max amount, the field will autocorrect to the max available space when tabbing out. That is what happened in this situation.

As I mentioned in the PM to 42, there is no "undo"ing UFA. We would literally have to undo the entire offseason, revert back to the S17 End Of Season save file (our last backup that hasn't been overwritten). The file we save all things on is the PBSL file (which we save over with the updates after every offseason event/upload).

Undoing the entire off-season is not an option. The options that *are* on the table are (as 42 mentioned):
a) Keep webber on his deal (its essentially a 1 year contract if you want it to be)
b) Return Webber to the UFA pool and return your cap space to it's pre-Webber state.

Unfortunately this was a mistake made by me. And unfortunately, the only 2 realistic options are the ones listed above. A decision needs to be made by 11:59am CDT tomorrow so that the index can be updated accordingly.

Again, I am extremely sorry that this happened; trust me that this is something i never want to happen or have to deal with. It's a hard decision to make, but it's the decision that was made.

Wig will have more of an announcement on the following later on, but looking to next off-season, people will have the option of inputting their own bids and DCs going forward. So if you desire you, won't have to worry about our <expletive deleted> anymore.

Even if you keep it all clean, can you be confident in your bids? DCs? Picks?

What about when rules apply you suddenly but not to others?

What is the point? If you can't be confident that your controller works, why play? Or that you have no recourse when it is error after error after error against YOU way more than others?

Just ask yourself: are you IN? If the answer is anything but "yes," I'd look closely at things.

I mean, if you aren't confident, I could just not input the rest of UFA or the off-season. Would be no skin off my back at all. We can wait until Wig gets back from his trip later this week and then after that until he has his system up in place and running where people can input their own shit.

Your shit got messed up, yeah. I Fryeing get it. Nothing I can Fryeing do about it outside of what I Fryeing said in my post. I'm not going to re-Fryeing-do the entire Fryeing off-season. Inputting bids alone cost me 3 and a half hours AT WORK, including the one hour past the time I was free to go, in order to get this shit out today.

Welcome to the Breaking Point; Population: 1. Me.

Now I don't get to complain? Seriously, am I misrepresenting something? You got something done on time, just not the UFA bids.

The effort is appreciated. Fast has been chosen over right. Repeatedly. Not twice. Not three times.

And the care, or lack of it, during the fast times has an empirical structure.

Why is it ok to make mistakes but not ok to point them out with ever-increasing vigor as the errors mount?

It's not the error. I said it time and time again. It's what is done about them, or not, that is way more important.

Enough errors that I noticed have been made public to call it a pattern. Intentional or not, it is a pattern. Maybe others don't notice the ones affecting them. Maybe it's just me.

I will, however, say my piece since I have to live with FA as is, perhaps without overpaid Webber.

And I will say it as often as I want.

And I will make damn sure this is worth it.

Updated time.

Also, if Webber does re-enter the FA pool, then UFA Round 2 bids submitted are allowed to be updated to reflect that.

Why blow off work to do this on some rush schedule in a distracted environment if that is the source of errors?

Is that the best choice? For you? For the League?

Enough with the bullshit. You're taking this too far. A mistake was made. More than one mistake was made. You're dragging it and the league through the coals. The league's seen it and at this point everything you're saying has been heard at length. You're creating conspiracies that aren't there. Move on. The solution is, keep him or let him go. We can't go back in time ; in the game or real life.

Sleep on it and make your decision; we like you and want you here. I'd love to get a better checks and balances system or a self entered system which was proposed by wig. You've beaten the dead horse, use that energy to come with a better solution. If you keep up with this rant you will force my hand and make me do something i'd rather not.

Index updated to reflect Chris Webber as a UFA. Cavs cap space updated. Spurs/Clippers S&T will be processed once the Spurs cut 1 player.

If you have submitted your bids and would like to edit them to reflect the Chris Webber insertion, please PM the Negotiator with your updated bids.

EDIT: Spurs cut Humphries. Spurs/Clips S&T processed
