Site crashing on Trade Deadline day forcing a sim to happen a few days late.

A few teams missing cut/trade deadline to lower cap/trade players even one by :00:43 seconds.

As a special bonus, I'm going to try a live-sim of the end of the College season (i.e., the Selection Show and Tournament) before tonight's Regular Season sim (#11) so that we can import and post the actual college draft class along with the sim tonight.

Just a reminder awards nominations close today. I didn't know we'd be squeezing the regular season into last week, so that's why we go into the playoffs a bit, but ballots will go out tomorrow and be due Wednesday night.

Nominations are now closed. Award ballots will go out when I get off work tonight and will be due by midnight tomorrow night.

Award ballots have been sent out. Sorry it's taken till later tonight. I pushed the deadline back to 4:59 PM on Thursday, August 3rd, before any potential game 7's.

In case you missed it, Games 5 and 6 of the first round of the playoffs need to be re-simmed due to a BSOD on the simputer leading to a corrupted league file... and a hurried restore from what I presumed was the local backup of the league file in turn resulted in all sorts of really wrong DCs across the board.

As always, the goal is to get things correct as often as we can. So we'll be re-simming those games with the proper DCs to make sure we get proper results. Some teams that thought they won playoff series will no doubt be in a situation where they now have extended series (or even lose) but I hope everyone is in agreement that it's better to be slow and right than fast and wrong.

Teams will use the DCs they sent as of the original Games 5 and 6 deadline (i.e., no changing DCs now). For the benefit of those who use nodes, the PBSL.zip file has been updated so you can pull that down and confirm for yourself that the DC that will be used for Games 5 and 6 is correct.

EXTREMELY sorry for the confusion, and I guess now I know what I thought was the local backup of the league file actually isn't. Also, I did some maintenance on the physical machine that hosts the virtual simputer (it hadn't been rebooted in several months) in the hopes of stabilizing things so hopefully no more BSODs while simming. Obviously I can't guarantee anything but I'm doing my best.

This has been a bit of a rough season from start to finish, and I thank everyone for their understanding. Let's get it over with, get it over correctly, and hopefully we'll have many seasons of smooth sailing going forward!
