Hello, friends. We're back and more indifferent than ever, so let's get to it. As always, let's start with a
I said I didn't know what to expect last season, but I was hopeful that we were better. And we were! To the tune of....1 win
. We did manage to win a playoff series against the Kings, only to meet up with longtime frival garbageman. While we were able to push it to seven, we ultimately lost. Another long walk in the offseason woods was set.
We were at a crossroads. It was time to sign and trade Felicio and reset the tax or bring him back and dive head first into contention. The siren's song of winning was too hard to resist- not only did we re-sign Felicio and Pastor, but we welcomed a new face to the team:
We're thrilled to bring in Nick Lynch for some added outside sharpshooting, along with some secondary pieces in Robert Mata and Daren Tirado.
So what does this all mean? I'm still not really sure. I think we'll be pretty good, but as always there's fierce competition. I'm hopeful this group's productivity matches the payroll.
