1. An idea I had during the playoffs: Since Finals are just 2 teams who get their DC's in fast, sim 1 game at a time instead of 2 for more mental chess.
2. Going to codify this: For volunteer positions, you are allowed to claim points for multiple positions if there are not enough volunteers to do all positions. Since I'll be working more with inputting and running backend stuff, I'm not going to volunteer for anything, but if anything ESSENTIAL for other people to push the league forward (media points, DC participation, Waiver Process) goes unclaimed, I'll do it and collect the points for it. Ryan is doing a great job with RFA/Tax Coordination, so he's going to keep that appointed position. Since Tani is vacating the college sim stuff, and I've figured it out, that is not going to be an appointed position anymore. It's just going to be something that gets done.
3. When Scott was commissioner, he increased referral to 25 points after 2 seasons of activity since it was getting harder to refer people, but never codified it in the Points System. I will codify this unless people want to stick with 15 points after 1 season.
4. I'd like to bring back more official measures for checking in. While it's true that it's hard to get recruits, what makes it even harder is when a new GM has to take over a team that's been ruined by neglect rather than a team that's been smoothly handed off, it makes it harder to keep new GMs invested. If anyone has solid ideas on how to handle Offseason tasks for teams that are on cruise control, I'm looking to hear them.
