Yes, nodes can be used to input FA bids.IamQuailman wrote: Tue Mar 07, 2017 8:06 pm Its mostly incentive to help minimize inputter workload. Wig and 78 bust their butts inputting almost and this would help minimize input fatigue (its real lol)
I think nodes can be used to input FAs too, cant remember tbh. May need wig to clarify. If thats the case, id be willing to say an extra point for inputting your own UFA bids (because that alone is Fryeing brutal)

Note that the Human Coaches page - http://pbsl.ijbl.net/humancoaches.htm - gives "Last Import" date - while this would need to be screenshotted after every sim, it is an extremely easy way to see who did send an FTP file for import because the "Last Import" date will be the same as the sim date (or, if you prefer, the "Page Generation" date down at the bottom of the HTML output pages).IamQuailman wrote: Tue Mar 07, 2017 8:08 pm A tab can be kept to reconcile the ftp imports each sim, this could be lumped into DC participation's job description

This is an excellent point.Inner_GI wrote: Tue Mar 07, 2017 9:22 pm In the event of a trade, there is no way for someone to use the node for most of the league, and they would be at a disadvantage to getting 100%. Just wanted to put that out there.

Also works on Linux systems!WigNosy wrote: Wed Mar 08, 2017 1:20 am One final note: the TeamViewer app is not limited to Windows. It is also available on iOS and Android, so if you get a node set up, you can enter your DC on your smart phone.
This is awesome news. I've been wishing I could access the node from work via a mobile device. WOOT!WigNosy wrote: Wed Mar 08, 2017 1:20 am Also, I should note at present 17 teams have either asked that nodes be set up or have access to input on the main computer. There are 12 teams that do not yet have access (because they haven't requested it):
Nets
Heat
Wizards
Cavaliers
Pistons
Hornets
Nuggets
Grizzlies
Spurs
Lakers
Supersonics
Suns
So right now roughly 60% of the league can "do their own" to take the strain off inputters.
You may ask - why do some of these teams that can't do their own have "last input dates?" Because one of the ways inputters can hedge against a PC crash and file corruption is to export to FTP after entering DCs or especially bids for a team.

I think as long as they create a ftp file from their node to be imported, i think it would count; that's the one spot where the inputted would just need to screenshot or tally the FTP peeps (for reference).Inner_GI wrote: Wed Mar 08, 2017 10:21 am That may work. How would we count someone inputting via TV in sim 1 and going same the rest of the way. Does that qualify for bonus points?
