Hakeem Olajuwon. My man was player of the month every month he played. The team was also struggling more than I expected without him.

Buck Williams is the answer here. I get the Magic love, but Buck (no bias to the name) dominated for TWO teams this season. He went through a lockerroom change and told Mitch Richmond to hold his beer. He's #2 in the league in SCORING & FG% and #3 in REBOUNDING. Efficient, effective, ELITE. His PER? 27.8 (Magic's was 26.9). He helped keep the Kings relevant when everyone balked at Darth's trade. He is a superstar. He is the TRUE MVP.

All Right Guys, Prepare to Shit yourselves:

I know there's no question that Patrick is the best defender in the league, so I'll start with the argument of offense.
Let this sink in, the man averaged 28.4 points on 52/77/50 shooting splits!!
Buck and Karl scored more, each by about 2 points a game.
Comparatively, Patrick has the highest player efficiency, the highest estimated wins added, and the lowest turnover rate of the 3.
All 3 made 1st Team All League, but if you consider for one second that defense does play a part in naming the MVP, let me crush this argument immediately.
Patrick was the computer choice for Defender of the Year and 1st Team All Defense
Only player in the league above 12 rebounds a game, whole rebound per game better than Buck who was 3rd and the rest of the league.
Same steals as Malone which was double that of Buck, and a league leading 4.4 blocks a game!
That's 4 times what Malone or Buck put up.
No question, Patrick Ewing is THE BEST 2 way player in the league and should be the MVP.
Even in spite of #78 trying to work against him.
What cha gonna do

Or is this all because #78 is working against him and he has no support?
