S11 Rookie of the Year

Post by AngryBanana »

I'll slide in here and steal the Rookie of the Year away from him. Derrick Coleman is everything you want out of a rookie, and then some. He's everything any GM is expecting out of Shaquille O'Neal honest. I'm surprised but not surprised that the Bullets gave up a SURE FIRE THING for a chance at Shaq. This guy averaged 19 & 8 on 49% shooting. High usage, no real offense to support him. He made the best of a shit situation for sure. But this guy has the potential to be elite. Elite rebounding, dominant scorer inside & out, above average defender, high end athleticism. He's got it all. It's scary to think that 19 & 8 is the FLOOR for this guy. The Knicks got a re-do of BUCK WILLIAMS with Derrick Coleman, and we know how Buck turned out.

Enhanced/html/players/player169.htmhttp ... hp?t=16395
