I'm going to nominate myself, because I want to speak to all the things I did for the season.

Here's the resume:
- Entered season starting a 3-yr repeater tax bill in the face.
- Traded Jerome Kersey for Reggie Lewis to help with that tax bill right away
- Had a bit of a turbulent start to the season (10-7 at the end of November). Quickly realized a pivot was needed.
- Scoured the league for a viable (cheap) PF option. Ended up moving Antoine Carr & 93 1st for Jim Petersen. Suddenly, a few min cuts away from below lux tax threshold. Defensive rebounding presence that will not command the ball. Lunch pail guy. Win now + reset tax move, CHECK.
- I could've stood pat there and see how things worked... But I was facing an expiring Doc Rivers, RFA Reggie Lewis in the face. Some changes were needed...
- Worked with 3 other great GMs to put together a block buster 4-way trade that cost me Reggie & Doc, but brought back former Buck Mark Jackson & former Buck Jeff Malone (who ended up winning 6MOY). Jeff is locked in for 1 more season, and Mark is entering RFA. Most importantly, did not impede on my ability to reset lux tax status. Also brought in Shackleford as some big man depth.
- Made cuts to get below threshold. Tax free with a highly competitive roster that has a core (Benjamin, Harper, Hornacek, Jackson) with the avg age of 26.5 as of playoffs.
- Squad went 28-3 post-All-Star Break. BONUS POINTS FOR 28-3 JOKE.
- The GAME named me GMOY

I did an overhaul sending out current stars/future prospects to bring back current stars while re-opening my franchise's window for success, in addition to maintaining fiscal responsibility and not incurring long term, unsustainable debt due to tax.

I worried about the now and the future, while finishing with the 4th best record in the league after a "horrific" start by this organization's standards. 8-7 >>> 63-19 (55-12 the rest of the way after that start). I don't want to discredit what other GMs have accomplished this season, but I need to at least throw my hat in the ring.

BigD turned the corner with some huge moves to acquire Bowie, steal Worthy, and then fire Aguirre only to end up with the best regular season record.

I'm going with Darth Vegito. The Kings were the team no one saw coming, but they had a plan all season long to push their chips in, say Frye the top competition, and give it his best shot. He did a damn fine job of it, too. Despite an unfortunate start to the playoffs, this team is built to make a deep run, and the Kings are probably the scariest team to play that you weren't expecting. Well done, Darth.

I nominate AngryBanana. Even with the weak conference, he was on the verge of wanting to go into tank mode and made some gutsy moves that solidified him as a contender this season
