Celtics/supersonics trade gets my vote. And yes, it’s mainly because my team is involved. While this season was a disappointment, and I didn’t have my own pick, I was able to trade an elite scorer for a really good big as well as getting a lottery pick this upcoming draft and a future 1st. It also helps that I got 15 points so hopefully I can make the right draft picks and have a solid rebuild and come back as a strong contender in the future

Not just because it's my trade, I actually didn't love it for myself, but this is the trade that will crown the champs, and LTS made the move when other GM's were afraid to.

Adrian Dantley is a great talent, but next to my core it wasn't looking promising, and that contract is a heavy load.
I knew I was going to dive for the apron fairly early in the season.
John Lucas got long in the tooth on me, and I didn't want to pay taxes without a strong chance of getting back to the Finals.
I shopped a ton of deals with every GM that would listen.
What I got was the tax relief I was looking for, a great perimeter defender in Cooper, a very movable contract in Henderson, a nice project piece in Rasmussen, points, and the flexibility to add Darwin Cook.
And again, LTS walks away as the favorite for the ship.

<br /><br /><br />Oh man. This trade I feel like has very large implications across the league. My sources have informed me that the Bullets have told me that both Dantley and Pressey were dangled out to several teams prior to this trade being completed. Equally, several teams were interested in Rasmussen, just for him to say he liked the player too much to move him. Truly some interesting developments in this late hour....<br /><br />From a trade perspective lets get at this. Lets start with the Bullets, Dantley is a real one, and trading him is no small move indeed. However, it appears he is appearing to move the better player for an aggregate better team, turning that into a great starting PG, albeit on a longer deal that would be preferred in Henderson, Cooper who can be a starting guard now for most teams, and a great prospect in Rasmussen. While I may give them a lower grade in this trade, it is from a short term perspective. They are a team that could fight for the win now, and while the aggregate could improve their overall performance they gave up a lot of sending out such a good player. I could see their move working out more in their favor in the long run, but its for sure risky in a potentially bad way.<br /><br />The Lakers trade for Dantley, who I said previously is a guy. He is probably a top 25 player that I don't know that I would have traded away easily, but is on an Albert Pujols type deal of pay me total for what I will do now deal. Then there is Pressey, who could be a risky RFA player but also a great reserve guard for the Lakers. It seems like they always have several PGs on their team and they will continue that for the near future. This move is also risky, but at the same time it's one that is a win now move that LTS should be doing with Magic on his roster. He can always figure out the Dantley contract later if needed.<br /><br />All in all I think I like both sides of this deal. Lakers are tying to win now with Magic, and I think Dantley is a great running mate, while the Bullets are trying to build depth. I am surprised to see a guy like Dantley get moved, and give the both sides some credit for such a big move, however I wonder if this hurts either side in the long run.
