S64 Kings Presser

Post by SuperDog »

Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed members of the media, and fans of the Sacramento Kings welcome to this exciting press conference hosted by GM SuperDog.

We gather here today to reflect upon the highlights of Season 63, where the Kings rebounded in spectacular fashion, winning an impressive 50 games and securing a playoff spot after narrowly missing out on the postseason in the previous season.

Before we delve into the team's accomplishments, I would like to take a moment to recognize and congratulate Killian Hayes on his incredible 18-season career, all of which he spent with the Sacramento Kings. Hayes has been a pillar of this franchise, showcasing his exceptional skills and leadership on and off the court. It is with great pride that we announce his induction into the prestigious PBSL Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Killian Hayes on this well-deserved honor.

Now, turning our attention to Season 64, the Sacramento Kings had a singular goal in the offseason: to retain the services of the talented Gary Rockwell. And I'm delighted to inform you that we achieved that objective. Gary Rockwell will continue to lead this team and take on a more prominent role as we enter a new era. The reins have been handed over to Rockwell, and we have full confidence in his abilities to guide the Kings to further success.

Additionally, we made a remarkable steal in the draft at the 19th position, selecting Chance Parent. With his exceptional skills and potential, Parent is expected to eventually replace Immanuel Quickley at the shooting guard role. We believe Parent's addition will bolster our team's depth and provide a bright future for the Sacramento Kings.

The rest of the offseason was relatively quiet for the Kings, but this was a deliberate strategy to stay under the tax apron for another season. We are not quite there right now to make a serious run at the conference title so we will continue to slowly build as we wait for our moment.

As we get ready for S64 the Kings are brimming with excitement and anticipation. While I do not expect to answer any of your questions today, I encourage all of you to ask them. Your curiosity and engagement are vital to our continued success and the vibrant spirit of this organization.

Thank you all for being here today, and let us all look forward to a thrilling and successful season ahead.

Let's Go Kings!!

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: The King's MOs seem to be player loyalty and your rivalry with the Cavs, Grizzlies, and Celtics. Including your own team, how would you rank those teams from best to worst this season?

How long do you see your team being in rebuild mode?

Chet Youbetcha, Dimmadome News: Do you plan to waste Rockwell like you wasted Hayes?

Was there ever a thought that you’d lose Gary Rockwell? Any contingency plans incase you did?
