Im all for if it was something that was stated to be a rule in our rules, but this is just dumb if so and is not even a real thing in the NBA. Note: This trade is probably going to be denied by the game. If memory serves, there is a hard-coded limit on the number of draft picks a team can own in any given season (6; this trade takes the Bullets to 8 picks in 1992).

Quick thoughts I felt to share:

1. The provision for adjustments only being up to 25% raises was to keep teams from just submitting "minimum" bids as placeholders then jacking them way up on the Modification Days - this defeats the purpose of revealing all bids so that bidding wars can happen.

Review and critique so this can be improved is welcome. I don't think this system is perfect "as-is" but I like it better than our current system (and it reduces a lot of work) so I think this ought to be discussed and considered.

Our current process runs approximately as follows:

1. The "new cap" is released for the season. Cap Holds for RFA are calculated based on the new cap number.
2. Teams have until a Thursday 4 pm deadline to exercise RFA rights. The commissioner compiles the cap holds, goes into the league files, and ...
