As many other news outlets have reported, Blake Griffin is quickly on his way to recovery. But not today—sources close to the big man say that he was up all night fighting off a bad case of diarrhea, which kept him up until the early hours of the morning. Lay off the tacos, big fella.

Sources say a handful of teams have reached out to the Pelicans regarding Damian Lillard, but talks didn't progress much. We expect Lillard to remain a Pelican at least for the rest of this season before his next contract determines his future in New Orleans.

Sources say the Timberwolves have decided to stand pat at the trade deadline. According to a Timberwolves front office member, "we received some interesting offers, but none we want to act on at the moment." Look for the Wolves to be in the market for another big move this summer.

It's been an incredibly quiet trade deadline in Boston. The Celtics are trying hard to get Dudley and Smith off their books, but with only one (somewhat inactive) team having cap space, salaries would have to be matched, and there are no teams willing to match salaries and give up assets for either player. We expect the Celtics to finish the season with this roster and take a look at their future with Wall in the offseason.

Some general managers are beginning to whisper that Russian operatives are behind the recent playoff "crashes" and subsequent resims. Are the PBSL playoffs being hacked by a foreign entity?

Hawks are eager to get back to the playoffs for another shot at the PBSL title. The only question is: What do they have to do to win it all? What do they need to do to put themselves over the top this upcoming season?

While many people consider Anthony Davis's return to the Pistons a slam dunk, AD himself has been visiting with every team that wants to talk with him. "I mean, there is always a chance Detroit won't match or will agree to a sign and trade, right? Please tell me there's a chance I can get out of here. Please!"

Damian Lillard is experiencing a cooler-than-expected market. Some GMs are put off by his mediocre and defense and passing. Lillard had this message for the doubters, "Have you seen me shoot? Why would I pass the ball? I'm the champ and champs get paid. I'm not playing for anything less than a max deal."

In Atlanta there are three different stories. Draymond Greed is shopping for houses. "I'm not going anywhere. Just getting a nice raise. I'm proud to be part of the the league's finest organization and can't wait to spend the rest of my career here."

Kris Middleton, on the other hand, is making many visits around the league. "I know I'm on my way out. I saw the Afflalo pick up. I can read the writing on the wall. The GM is just hoping he can fool some team into a sign and trade. He won't match."

Oft forgotten third banana Jae Crowder could not be reached for comment because I really didn't try because who really cares about that guy.

Andre Drummond has been trying to drum up offers. "Teams apparently think that I'm a lock to stay in Denver so they're not even bothering to make an offer. I'd love to stay here but I also know I need to increase demand or I'm not going to get the money I deserve." Many feel that the market for defense-only big men has cooled tahnks to players like Mozgov.

The two most overlooked players in RFA: Harrison Barnes and Thomas Robinson. Barnes has the talent to be a top 5 scoring SF in the league and will be worth a max by third year of his contract, which seems like a great investment. Thomas Robinson is a specialist but he defends and rebounds at an elite level. Last year a similar player : Kenneth Faried got about 15m per season and he's looking for the same.

Reason why the Knicks have been quiet? They're hoping Bazamore and Henson get sweetheart deals. Word on the streets is if you offer 8M per year or over they're yours.

Need a scorer? They probably won't come cheap. Lillard is a lock to resign but hasn't gotten any offers so the champion Hornets may get away with something. In terms of Beal, most teams think if you throw a max out there, there's a 50/50 chance you can land him for some spare parts.

Jared Sullinger is looking for a huge payday. Word is, his food intake increases by the year and he's barely saving any money.

The mysterious case of Patrick Beverly: The 27 year old provides elite defense and can hit 3's. He doesn't really provide much scoring punch, or much playmaking though. If you have a solid playmaker, he's the guy. And there are big questions if he fits into the Bulls future. He can be had.

Charlotte has never won anything. Probably never will either. But the Pelicans will retain him. Lol

There hasn't been much buzz around the Warriors but look for them to be BIG spenders in RFA. They have the space to fit a max contract under the cap before paying Jordan in UFA.

John Wall looks lonely on the Celtics and it looks like that cap space is burning a hole in Conroy's pocket. With only two years left on Wall's contract, don't be surprised if they look to get him some help in RFA.

The Clippers have a nice wad of cash to spend before UFA and a decent stock of points but committing to multiple long-term deals heading into a third year above the cap makes their GM nervous. Look for them to sit out RFA and pick up some spare part veterans after all the hubub dies down.

Fresh off their trip to the conference finals the Suns are looking to rebuild around Kevin Love. They'll start in RFA. Word is they believe Harrison Barnes will be Love's new best bud. Look for a max for Barnes from Phoenix.

Just got word of a blockbuster. Apparently the Pistons have received the Godfather offer that we all thought didn't exist. If AD signs with the right team, he will be shipped off for a motherload of picks and prospects. West coast is about to be the best coast once again.

Obviously the hold up with RFA is the complexity of the situation for the Bulls and Knicks. People close to the organization say the Bulls have potential sign and trade deals for both Sullinger and Drummond. The price for Drummond is steep, however, as they would have to give up LaVine. If they choose to make that deal, Sully will end up back in Philly. If they decide they can't part with LaVine, they'll trade for Sully. Meanwhile, they are trying to get either Milburn or Stark from the Warriors for Beverley.

The Knicks are mostly just sulking. They were hoping to sign and trade Bazemore but the Clips simply don't have anything they want. On the other hand, the Knicks need to keep Henson and will but are a little salty over the price tag. In the end, they'll match both.

The buzz in Chicago is that the Bulls have made strong pitches to a number of free agents. "What you saw in RFA wasn't a fluke," one agent who represents multiple star clients said. "They're trying to build the next super-team here and guys are excited about it."
