Word on the street is everytime you call the Bulls GMs office, there's a series of beeps and boops before the phone hangs up suddenly. Shortly after a text message is received from the office that simply says "Hello friend" leading some to believe Mr. RoboGM is back

Apparently an Artest for Gortat S&T deal is in the works.
Re: Hoopshype
The Knicks' decision on Nate Robinson will depend on the outcome of Stephen Jackson trade talks. When I inquired about the teams involved, Knicks officials simply said, "let's just say S-Jax may not be getting paid in US Dollars next season," meaning the Bynum decision could also hinge on those talks.

Re: Hoopshype
A lot of bluffing going on with the Villanueva and Ike Diogu situations. Hearing there is no chance the Celtics match Villanueva or Warriors match Diogu. Still unclear is whether the Diogu deal was a actually a tanking tactic by the Rockets.

a look at Knicks GM InnerGI on the Nate Robinson decision
Re: Hoopshype
Live look in at the Midwest division. The division has a combined $270 million to spend and only one team really in a position to compete. To quote one GM, "That division is going to be even more of a dumpster fire than it was last year."

Re: Hoopshype
Consensus across the league is that free agency is pretty strange this year. After teams spent big on restricted free agents, UFAs are getting the shaft. "Guys like Tim Thomas and Ricky Davis aren't getting low-ball offers, they aren't getting any offers," quipped one GM. "Don't expect the usual slew of long-term crippling contracts for aging stars. This year you'll see multiple stars take big cuts to play for contenders."
Re: Hoopshype
To no one's surprise Tom Gugliotta has received an offer from the Hornets. When asked whether he would consider it he said, "Sure, I'll sign the contract but I'm not cancelling my cruise reservation in March."
Re: Hoopshype
After failing to make it out of the first round last year and failing to sell off Tim Duncan the Hawks seem to be targeting PBSL Champion Shane Battier with a 1 year $18 million deal.
Re: Hoopshype
Pau Gasol will be heading to Oakland as the Warriors look to compete now.
Re: Hoopshype
Shaq has been spotted in Seattle. It is common knowledge he'll sign a min deal with the Sonics. Still chasing dat ring.
Re: Hoopshype
Sources close to the situation suggests the Kings are close to trading McGrady and possibly Hinrich by the end of today. After trading Chandler, most know it is only a matter of time before the Kings pull the trigger.
Re: Hoopshype
Mike Miller will be dealt to the Raptors as soon as he is available to be traded.
Re: Hoopshype
We're hearing that thanks to the Suns winning the title with a team built around the three-point shot, J.J. Redick and Steve Novak have been hot commodities on this year's Free Agent market. A source near Redick described the offers he's been getting as "multiple really strong offers" while word out of the Novak camp is that contract dollar values have been "higher than expected."
Re: Hoopshype
Paul Millsap of the Bulls may have to wait a while for his contract offer from the Bulls. Apparently the stewards can take days to decide what toppings to order on a pizza, much less what kind of a contract to offer. One Western Conference GM claims to have targeted Millsap on the basis of "the stewards will be too disorganized to match if I win, so what do I have to lose?"
Re: Hoopshype
Sources tell us LaMarcus Aldridge has been extremely popular this offseason. His agent mentioned he's "literally drowning in offers."
Re: Hoopshype
The Hawks' notorious penny pinching ways are sure to come back to bite Wig in the butt. My cousin told me that when Rudy Gay opened his contract offer from the Hawks his response was AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHANO.
Re: Hoopshype
Some people have told me that Rajon Rondo wants out of Denver no matter what. Apparently a popular phrase in Rondo's camp is that even if the Nuggets offer a super max he's planning on "pulling a Big Z."

6 Rings. That's it. That's the tweet.
Re: Hoopshype
Sources say someone is butthurt.
Re: Hoopshype
We can now confirm LaMarcus Aldridge is literally drowning in offers. Upon hearing news of the drowning one GM quipped, "Probably because he's so weak. The guy should really hit the gym more often."Sources wrote:Sources tell us LaMarcus Aldridge has been extremely popular this offseason. His agent mentioned he's "literally drowning in offers."
Re: Hoopshype
Rondo said he didn't receive the max contract offer. When asking the Nuggets GM he said he offered the maximum dollars allowed by the NBA. When brought to Rondo he said it was subjective and it wasn't a max offer to him.
