Re: PBSL Sign-Up Thread
I don't think runningback will quit at any point soon. I'll get on him about the DCs, but he hasn't missed anywhere near as much as snug did.
Re: PBSL Sign-Up Thread
If you have to force or manufacture interest, it's because there is a lack of interest, and the bandaids meant to cover it just don't after a while. Why interfere and reset the clock on the inevitable?
There's no "I" in team, but you can find "Eat me" if you push it too far.

How can you say that if you don't know him? I can assure you he has interest. I'm just gonna remind him of the DC duties42PhD wrote:If you have to force or manufacture interest, it's because there is a lack of interest, and the bandaids meant to cover it just don't after a while. Re: PBSL Sign-Up Thread
Actions v words. People who are interested act interested. That is kind of what interest is.

Meh, that's your opinion. He has been active all offseason, just missed a couple DCs initially. You're wrong on this subject man.42PhD wrote:Actions v words. People who are interested act interested. That is kind of what interest is.

Re: PBSL Sign-Up Thread
My bad on missing the first few DCs my Grandmother has been in the hospital the last 3 weeks so I haven't been so focused on the league. That being said everything is back to normal now and ill be posting my DC today.coltsguy510 wrote:Meh, that's your opinion. He has been active all offseason, just missed a couple DCs initially. It's not an opinion. It's very close to a definition, and I'm pointing to facts in addition. Those are not opinions.coltsguy510 wrote:Meh, that's your opinion. It is very easy for other facts to materialize. Those will also not be opinion.
What you mean to say, I think, is you know there is interest and the facts don't fit that. Fine. Eventually, they will.
Keep in mind, however, this was coming from
1) me asking what the standards were, since they were applied privately while a new owner was placed in the shadows
2) me asking how they applied to another owner who has not participated this season, at least with DC's, which is in no way insulting, by the way
3) inner trying to defense someone who was not attacked, doing so poorly, and quitting after saying the Pistons were a bad situation.
Now, if you want complain, please go back and look at what happened before you continue. I said he hasn't participated much and it seems like he quit because the situation is tough. He doesn't have a pick and has done very little to bolster his team, which is quite bad, all while sitting on a pile of cap. It's an easy question to ask in light of the Knicks being handed to someone in a back alley while the Warrior languish, and the Pistons are in a similar boat, ripe for someone to come in, be handed a great team, and alleviate a tax bill for someone.
It's an easier issue to resolve: show a small amount of activity. DC submission is a rewarded activity, and about 5 times as valuable as a win, pointswise. Saying "recommended" counts way more than just defaulting to that, for instance.
So this isn't me. This is the League rules telling you what is and is not valued.
There's no "I" in team, but you can find "Eat me" if you push it too far.
