Revise Rookie Trainings

I would like to propose a slight tweak to our current rookie training system in light of the new point training system.
CURRENT:
If a rookie averages at least 30 minutes and starts at least 60 games, he gets a "free" training increasing a current rating by 3 points the following offseason (assuming he doesn't hit his potential ceiling). Rating increases are applied prior to TC.
PROPOSED:
1. Players must play a number of minutes above a "threshold" number of minutes to qualify for free training. This threshold is 500 times the player's years of experience in the league during the year he played the minutes (i.e., 0 for a rookie, 500 for a player with 1 year of experience, etc.) - note that a player gains 1 year of experience if he plays during any game in a regular season (pre-season appearances do not count).
2. For every 500 minutes above the required threshold that a player plays during the four seasons of his rookie contract, he gets a "free" training increasing a current rating by 1 point the following offseason. A rookie who qualifies for multiple trainings (e.g., by playing 1000 or more minutes) may choose to combine the increases or distribute them among multiple ratings (e.g., a rookie who played 1200 minutes qualifies for 2 trainings and could choose to go +2 in INS or +1 in INS and +1 in ORB; a player with one year of experience who played 2600 total minutes qualifies for 4 trainings since he is 2100 minutes over the threshold).
3. You may choose to apply any number of "free" trainings to a player's "hidden" foul rating instead of a "current" rating on a 1:1 basis.
4. If a player qualifies for at least 3 "free" trainings in a single season, he may instead increase an "athletic" rating (QKN, JMP, STR, STA) by 1 point in lieu of three free 1-point increases as long as this does not increase the rating past 80.
Rating increases are applied prior to TC.
RATIONALES:
1. Lets teams give young players a more realistic role - 7 to 8 minutes per game off the bench over the course of a season will allow for 1 training for a rookie.
2. Teams aren't punished if a rookie falls just short of 30 mpg (due to foul trouble or stamina) or 60 games played (due to injury).
3. Fits better with the new, more granular training system.
4. If a team "sits" a player an entire year, his threshold remains at 0 for the following year. This gives teams (a small) incentive to "stash" players on IR for a year.
