S71 Walter Payton MANning of the year Award.

Post by Jedihero » Thu Sep 12, 2024 1:03 pm

This should be the GM who you think has either been the best help throughout the year to other members, has participated in nearly everything throughout the year, or has given the best responses in Town Halls.

Anybody who submits a nomination can claim 1 point (excluding self-nominations)

Max is 1 point, even if you submit nominations in other categories

Winning nomination gets an additional point like last season

Submit your nominations by the End of Conference Finals Sim.

LINK YOUR AWARD NOM, if you do not link, the item will still be posted but if it wins - the person that nominated will not get the points.

I nominate MexicanMamba he’s always super helpful any time we’ve talked and is always willing to help even if it may not be to benefit his team

Garbageman is the guy this year for me. He is a former commissioner that should be fine with just being on the sidelines. However, he is running sims today because of the fact that he is just that willing to help the good of the league. He is someone that also believes in the health of the league and takes it seriously with not causing drama and looking to both give advice if asked, and stay out of arguments he feels are not warranted. He has always been a standup guy and I really appreciated the talks we had this season, given all the struggles I was having. He was someone that would talk to me after sims, especially the first few, about the madness I was enduring.

Black Superman.

He runs the league, he's engaged, he riles people up, he's started podcasting, and is unafraid to express himself fully. You don't gotta like him or agree, but without him, this place wouldn't function cause the others of us who know how to run things don't wanna ha

Mike Lowry

He came out swinging. I think he put together a pretty good squad and put a lot of fear into the Omega Conference. Even though he flamed out in the playoffs, he made a lot people think he could make a deep run and knock off a bunch of higher seeded teams. He made the Omega conference way more interesting this year.

I will continue to nominate Bigdaddyd8720.

Every year he gets more involved and is always engaging in chat and on the forum. He's been patiently waiting and building his team, starting off with a not great Pels, and I'm hoping to see him finally make a playoff run this year.
