Pretty much the exact same rules as last year, but I feel like this is up early enough that we should get some entires in and don't need to encourage people to join. If we only have a few a day or so before season starts I may incentivize people to join and anyone who has already filled out an entry will benefit as well.

Just a quick little udpate. We have a 4 way tie for first place right now, Quail, Balls, Pauly, and Darth all have 7 points. As of today the answer key would be as follows with how many people have the right answer in ():

76ers win the east for 1 point (3 people have this right)
Suns win the west for 1.5 points (2 people have this right)
AD wins the MVP for 0.5 points (everyone had this)
Jaylen Brown is leading all rookies with 16ppg The next closest is Teddy Gotlieb, I gotta think JB holds this one down for 1 point (6 ppl had this)
No team is on pace for 65 wins for 1 point, the highest so far by my calculation is the 76ers on pace for 62 wins (6 ppl said No to this question)
Although it does look like the Warriors are on pace for 12 wins leading to Yes for 1.5 points that a team will win less than 14 games (5 ppl had this)
Which leads into next question the Warriors are in the field for 1 point for worst record (only 1 person had this way to go JNR)
I'm thinking 2 or 3 All-Stars will come from the Hawks and 76ers...my guess is Randle, Ellinger, and Simmons. (6 people guessed either 2 or 3)
I'm also thinking 3 or 4 get in from the Blazers and T'Wloves Wiggins, Rose, and McCollum look likely will Otto's rebounding get him in? (10 ppl said either 3 or 4)
I think the Bobcats actually added salary in their last trade...I'd say the tax bill is going over for 1 point (7 ppl guessed this)

We have no idea on the draft, but first and last place are separated by 2.5 points so it's defintely still anyones game.

Which brings us to the results...there were 11 entries...which put 33 points in the pool. 3rd place gets their 3 points back 2nd place gets 7 points (25% of 33 rounds down to 7) and 1st place gets 23 points...

In 3rd place with 5 correct answers and 6 total points is....TheSyndicate and gets his 3 points back

I was going to if the program didn't follow the correct tie breakers. But since both teams won their division, and Hawks won the reg season series 3-1 making them (in the eyes of this sports book) the true regular season winners of the East.
